Mobile Daily Devotional Week 9, Day 1 28th February, 2021. Topic: LESSONS FROM HANNAH'S LIFE Memory Verse: Heb. 13:8 "8 Jesus Christ is the  same yesterday, today, and forever." Bible Reading: 1 Sam. 1: 1-3 "1 Now there was a certain man of Ramathaim Zophim, of the mountains of Ephraim, and his  name was Elkanah the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephraimite. 2 And he had two wives: the name of  one was Hannah, and the name of the other  Peninnah. Peninnah had children, but Hannah had no children. 3 This man went up from his city yearly to worship and sacrifice to the LORD  of hosts in Shiloh. Also the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there." SERVING GOD ISN'T AN IMMUNE TO CHALLENGE . The Lord our God is the same in all situations. He changes not, come what may. He can never change His mind because of our situations. Serving God, seeking God and worshipping Him is not a gua...

Mobile Daily Devotional Week 8, Day 7 27th February, 2021. Topic: Attracting God's Visitation Memory Verse: Is. 55:6 6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Bible Reading: Math. 5:7 "7 Blessed are the merciful, For they shall obtain mercy." BE MERCIFUL Romans 9:15 "15 For He says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have Compassion.” To some, God is sounding partial with the Bible verse above. Many believe God has his favorite to lift, help and blessed but that's not the case. God is not selective. He sent His son to die for the sins of the world not the selected one, but you have a role to play in order to attract His benefit into your life. Saying God is partial is like sowing a grain of maize and expecting beans from it, that is not possible. When you are merciful to others you are attracting the mercy of God upon yourself. You being merciful makes G...

Mobile Daily Devotional Week 8, Day 6 26th February, 2021. Topic: Attracting God's Visitation Memory Verse: Is. 55:6 6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Bible Reading: Luke 16:10-12 10 He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much. 11 Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? 12 And if you have not been faithful in what is another man’s, who will give you what is your own? Faithfulness To God In Christiandom, when we mention faithfulness many tends to believe we are talking about faithfulness to God, no, that's not what today's topic is all about. Faithfulness to God is faithfulness to all. Faithfulness in how we handle things and to men, whom we can see and walk with. When you are faithful in the little God commits to your hands, you are inviting him to commit more to you. Faithfu...

Mobile Daily Devotional Week 8, Day 5 25th February, 2021. Topic: Attracting God's Visitation Memory Verse: Is. 55:6 6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Bible Reading: Heb. 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Your Faith, Your Invite Many Christians prayed and fasted without faith. Many serve God without Faith. Many even scatter their seeds without faith. All these activities can't please God without a genuine Faith attached to it. What is faith? The acronym 'Faith' simply means "Father, Am In Thy Hands." It also means, believing that what you prayed for has been granted while still expecting. Faith means, don't doubt your prayers till it comes true.  It means, keep following God till your request are granted. You don't speak In faith and act contrary to what you speak. You don...

Mobile Daily Devotional Week 8, Day 4 24th February, 2021 TOPIC: ATTRACTING GOD'S VISITATION Memory Verse: Is. 55:6 6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Bible Reading: Ex. 23:25 25 “So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. SERVICE: THE FASTEST WAY There's difference between serving God and seeking God. Zacchaeus wasn't serving God when He went to the tree top but he was seeking God. Trying to know Jesus despite being a rich man. Service entails you putting your hands to work for God, worshipping Him as your Lord and saviour. To serve is to put Him above your desires. Serving God also means being a burden lifter for God's servant and God's people. To serve God is to make God your all in all. Seeking God is personal while serving God is through other people. There are different levels of serving God, To be in a department in chur...

Mobile Daily Devotional Week 8, Day 3. 23rd February, 2021 TOPIC: ATTRACTING GOD'S VISITATION Memory Verse: Is. 55:6 6 Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. Bible Reading: Lk.1:26-30 26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” 29 But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. LIVING A RIGHTEOUS LIFE God is searching for a vessel He can use and fill, a vessel that will send Him an invite through his/her Holy Lifestyle, are you available? Bible Reading: Luke 19:1-6 1. Then Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. 2 Now behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. 3 And he sought to see who Jesus was, but could not because of the crowd, for he was of short stature. 4 So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way. 5 And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” 6 So he made haste and came down, and received Him joyfully. Bible Reading: Mark 10:46-52 "46 Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. 47 And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” 48 Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” 49 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” 50 And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. 51 So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” 52 Then Jesus s...

Mobile Daily Devotional  Week 7, Day 7 20th February, 2021 TOPIC: GOD IS AT WORK IN YOU Memory Verse: John 5:17: "But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work." Bible Reading: Romans 8:24-27 24 For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? 25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. 26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our  weaknesses. For we do not know what we  should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit  Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God." DON'T GIVE UP ON GOD God, the Father, God, the Son and God, the Holy Spirit are working on our behalf. As long as we are believers of Jesus Christ, God is on our side. I shall walk carefully all my years In the bitterness of my soul. 16 O Lord, by these  things men live; And in all these things is the life of my spirit; So You will restore me and make me live. 17 Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly  delivered my soul from the pit of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back. 18 For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You;  Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. 19 The living, the living man, he shall praise You,  As I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children." Bible Reading: Gen. 18:1-5 "1 Then the LORD appeared to him by the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. 2 So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing by him; and when he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed  himself to the ground, 3 and said, “My Lord, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant. 4 Please let a little water be  brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree. 5 And I will bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh your hearts. Bible Reading: Romans 8:28 "28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." APPRENTICESHIP OF GOD Learning a trade as an apprentice isn't an easy task. It takes determination, sacrifice and self-control. An apprentice can be older in age than his/her master, can be a graduate, master holder or even married person while the master is still single. Whatever your qualification or status, you have to obey your master. He can send you on errand while he continues with work. He can shout at you, insult you and ridicule you as your boss. The only reason for accepting all these is to learn the skill in the trade.  This is how it is with our God, although, He is God over all and above all but He somet...

Bible Reading: Gen. 42:22-24. "22 And Reuben answered them, saying, “Did I  not speak to you, saying, ‘Do not sin against the boy’; and you would not listen? Therefore behold, his blood is now required of us.” 23 But they did  not know that Joseph understood them, for he spoke to them through an interpreter. 24 And he turned himself away from them and wept. Then  he returned to them again, and talked with them. And he took Simeon from them and bound him  before their eyes. LEARN NEW THINGS A lot of Christians today has a familiar story with Joseph, the son of Jacob. We are familiar with his story. Bible Reading: Jere. 29:10-12 "10 For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place. 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then  you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you." WAIT FOR THE SET TIME God hasn't forgotten neither has he abandon you. He is working on you and for you. It doesn't matter what you are going through, God is still on your matter. I will like you to know that, you are "God's project in progress." You are not abandoned by God. God is not a man that start and stop a project because of finances or external problem, No. He is the beginning and the end of all things. The first and last of everything. He has the end of everything before the beginning began. He doesn't specializes in  uncompleted job, No, He perfect whatsoever He started. God is at work in you, Halleluyah. "33 Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts  good habits.” Wrong Company Kills Faith Who are the members of your company? Who do you flock with? What tops your discussion when you are with your company? Does it strengthens and increases your faith or decreases and kill your faith? Who you walk with will have a direct influence on your faith. Who do you share your ideas, revelation, inspiration and your faith with? These people can build or kill your faith with ease. Your daily communication have a way of lifting or killing your faith. When Jesus saw their faith, He said to  the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” 3 And at once some of the scribes said within themselves, “This Man blasphemes!” 4 But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said, “Why do you think evil in your hearts? 5 For which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?   6 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 7 And he arose and departed to his house.* *3. Doubt* Someone define Faith as *"Father, Am In Thy Hands."* Faith is giving all to God regardless of the situation. It also means, you always know what to do. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. Bible Reading: James 1:2-4 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 KNOWING THAT THE TESTING OF YOUR FAITH PRODUCES PATIENCE. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Faith Needs Patience _Now faith is the substance (image) of things hoped for, the evidence (Prove) of things not seen._ (personal paraphrase) Between your faith and the image you hope for, patience is the needed vehicle for transportation. The main reason many believers backslide is not lack of faith but lack of patience with faith. Every faith needs patience. Patience is what proves your stand about your faith. Patience enhances your faith to move towards your expectations. King David said, _"I waited patiently for the ...

Faith Is In Sizes Christianity is in levels and faith is in sizes. You can only receive according to the level of your Faith. Your manifestation is determined by your faith level. There are many levels of Faith found in the Bible but one thing is very sure your faith will always produce result, either big or small result, no faith is unproductive. Mobile Daily Devotional  Week 4, Day 7 30th January, 2021. Memory Verse Gen. 1:1 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.   Bible Reading: Gen. 3:7  7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.  Aftermath Of Nakedness  May we not loose our rightful position before we realise our mistakes in Jesus Mighty Name. We will not fall into costly mistakes in Jesus Mighty Name. Many occurrences that can be averted has taken the better part of us. This is the reason, after being a victim of shame, nakedness, people begin to refer to the devil as the cause of all. The aftermath of disobeying God's word is always terrible. I began to imagine how Adam felt when their eyes were open to know what evil was. They began to cast blame on one another. A peaceful home and garden became a place of blame, regret and rejection. What is that sin that can take y...
