Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof." Thinking Point: Our response to God's prophecies can deny, delay or grant us access to His blessing. Thinking Point: Don't think too much concerning His instructions but act accordingly. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ guide our paths to success today in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. This morning I will be starting a new series on “How we respond to God's instructions and rebuke” which goes a long way to determine what we receiv...

BIBLE READING: Psalms 23:6. "6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." Thinking Point: Being with the shepherd attracts Goodness and Mercy beyond work and effort. Celebrate with us, today is our 13th year's Wedding Anniversary, To God be the Glory forevermore. God has been there for us, we return the praise to Him alone. We bless the Lord for the entrance to His word that gives light for the past days we've been studying Psalms 23. It's more insightful than what we are used to. Today we round up this study with the last verse which says,  "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." This is a de...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 37, Day 1, Sunday, 7th September, 2025 TOPIC: Psalms 23. Anointed With Abundance (1)

TOPIC: Psalms 23. Anointed With Abundance (1) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 20 - 21, 2 Corinthians 6:3 - 7:1. MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 23:1. "1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." BIBLE READING: Psalms 23:5. "5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over." Thinking Point: To be anointed is to be filled with the abundance of God's virtue. Happy new week with God's blessing in all areas of our lives in Jesus name, Amen. From our Bible verse today, the Psalmist said, "thou anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over." When one is anointed with oil, the oil signifies God's virtue not just an oil. This anointing oil represents God's blessing, guidance, and special favor in one's life, akin to receiving high honor. David was simply saying, the shepherd poured blessings, guidance and special favour on his life which was true about David's lif...

BIBLE READING: Psalms 23:5. "5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over." Thinking Point: The Shepherd guarantees the safety of all sheep in his care. A beautiful day ahead of you with renewed strength and grace for profit in Jesus name, Amen. The shepherd and the sheep. When the sheep surrenders to the shepherd safety is guaranteed without struggling. The Psalmist said in Psalm 91:1, "1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." The secret place of the most high is the care of the shepherd, under his staff, under His tutelage. The shepherd secures His sheep from the devourer and feeds them in their presence. King Solomo...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 36, Day 6, Friday, 5th September, 2025 TOPIC: Psalms 23. Correction And Preservation (6)

TOPIC: Psalms 23. Correction And Preservation (6) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 16 - 17, 2 Corinthians 3: 7 - 4 :1 - 18. MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 23:1. "1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." BIBLE READING: Psalms 23:4. "4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Thinking Point: We enjoy correction of His rod and direction of His staff as His sheep. A wonderful weekend to everyone today, may the Lord visit us with the harvest of the week in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Our shepherd is kind, caring, good, nice, loving and also a disciplined God. He's a no nonsense God who does everything in His power to make us become who He designed us to be. God does discipline His sheep with the rod of His punishment for correction and to defend us against our enemy. When we disobey Him He calls us back with His rod like the Fulani man will use his rod to sti...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 36, Day 5, Thursday, 4th September, 2025 TOPIC: Psalms 23. Conscious Reliability (5)

Image
TOPIC: Psalms 23. Conscious Reliability (5) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 14 - 15, 2 Corinthians 2:5 - 3: 1 - 6. MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 23:1. "1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." BIBLE READING: Psalms 23:4. "4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Thinking Point: As a sheep in the Shepherd's care, we depend on Him. Today, the divine power that converts sorrow to joy will rest upon us in Jesus' mighty name, Amen. Our shepherd's care is incomparable and can't be fathomed. One good thing to know is that, wherever we are the shepherd is there with us. No where is hidden to Him so he is right beside us even when we feel confused and stranded. He may lead us to a place where we seem to be lost but He is there to show us care and love. He is the same shepherd when things are good and when times are bad. The same God of the moun...

BIBLE READING: Psalms 23:3. "3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake." Thinking Point: The shepherd knows when to renew our strength and when to redirect our path. This morning, I decree Divine settlement over every trouble and issue forcing tears out of your eye in Jesus name, Amen. Walking with the shepherd is the best and greatest opportunity we enjoy if we remain a sheep and not a goat. We were made to know yesterday that, as long as we are with the shepherd wherever we are is a greener pasture, there is a reason why the shepherd led us in that direction. I need to let us know that, in case we are finding things difficult in that direction, He is the restorer of strength. He is still available to help and enable us to...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 36, Day 3, Tuesday, 2nd September, 2025 TOPIC: Psalms 23. The Greener Pastures (3)

Image
TOPIC: Psalms 23. The Greener Pastures (3) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 10 - 11 1 Corinthians 16: 1 - 24. MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 23:1. "1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." BIBLE READING: Psalms 23:2. "2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters." Thinking Point: When the shepherd leads, all locations are greener pastures and still water. In this month of Divine Settlement, we will not miss our placement, our positions will be retained for us in Jesus name, Amen. We have been able to prove that the shepherd can only lead those who surrendered to him by recognising His voice, being obedient and following His instructions. Today, I'm here to let you know that, the way we see things and situations is not the way our shepherd sees. Let me ask this question, can there be a Tuesday without a Monday? Can there be a today without a yesterday? Is it possible to jump from toddler to adulthood? No, everyday s...

BIBLE READING: John 10:4-5. "4. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. 5. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers." Thinking Point: The sheep recognise, obey and follow the shepherd anytime and always. Happy new Month to you. Welcome to the month of "Divine Settlement". God will settle every issue in your life, marriage, finances and workplace this month in Jesus name, Amen. Yesterday, we discussed being a sheep to the shepherd is what put an end to poverty in the life of a believer. Today we want to see the criteria of a sheep to the shepherd. There are some differences between the goat and the sheep which makes the sheep ...

Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 36, Day 1, Sunday, 31st August, 2025 TOPIC: Psalms 23. The Shepherd (1)

Image
TOPIC: Psalms 23. The Shepherd (1) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 5 - 7 1 Corinthians 15: 1 - 34. MEMORY VERSE: Psalms 23:1. "1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." BIBLE READING: John 10:14 "14. I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine." Thinking Point: The shepherd is only responsible for the sheep, not the goat. Happy new week and Happy last day of the month of August, all of our blessings will be delivered before the month runs out in Jesus name, Amen. This week our focus is shifting to the shepherd and the sheep. Yes, the connection between the two and how the flow should be. We are all students of the Bible and we are all familiar with Psalms 23. I know we can recite it from verse one to the last verse without a missing word. But God showed me something that I want to share with you this week. The first verse says, "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." Many of us read this verse often without asking...

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Going Empty Handed (7) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 3 - 4 1 Corinthians 14 MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” BIBLE READING: Deuteronomy 16:16-17 "16. Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: 17. Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee." Thinking Point: Going into the presence of God empty handed is a hindrance to receiving from God. May we enjoy harvest and rest from all our labour in Jesus's name, Amen. Beloved, we have come to the end of our focus for this week, which is the hindrance to receiving from God. Our last topic today is "Appearing before God empty handed." It's...

Image
TOPIC: Hindrances In Church: Pride (6) One Year Bible Reading: Proverbs 1 - 2 1 Corinthians 13 MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 122:1 “1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.” Bible Reading: James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. Thinking Point: Pride is irritating to God. No matter how Holy we are, God resists the proud. Today, may the Lord fill your heart with joy everlasting from His presence in Jesus’Mighty Name, Amen. Still proceeding on the hindrances to receiving from God's presence. Our focus today is what I call Pride, being too proud, full of one’s self even before God. Believers always cross the line between faith and pride, walking in pride and claiming it to be faith. Let's clear this first, every man has an atom of pride, like seeing ourselves above others, but there's a level it becomes irritating, glaring and conspicuous. When you think money should ...
