Mobile Daily Devotional Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 30, Day 7. Saturday, 31 July, 2021. TOPIC: FATHER, HELP MY HELPERS 7: ABOVE ALL, FATHER I NEED YOUR HELP. Memory Verse: Ps. 60:11 "Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man." Bible Reading: Ps. 121:1-2. "1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth." Without the help of God, no one can render any help. If God is not involved in our situations nothing can be achieve by our helpers. He is the source of all help, our helpers are just a channel. So, without God's help, helpers can become haters, may God remember us with His help in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. The psalmist said, "God is the maker of Heaven and Earth and everything within it. He is our real helper, without Him no man can help us. He is our Protector, Provider, Sustainer, Redeemer, Keeper, Shield, Helper and our Source and anyone who joke with Him w...

"7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for  whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Most times, we expect to harvest what we never sow. We believe in miracle which doesn't come like magic. We seek for what we don't give. We fast, cry and pray for what we don't deserved and God keeps looking at us as a slave demanding the right of a son. We always make request of what  is not ours under the disguise of Faith, brethren, God's kingdom is govern by principles. Every door has a key, that God is good doesn't mean He will lavish His goods anyhow, No, He always know what and How to do His things. God rewards everything we do and He makes that happen, first, to us. I keep saying this...

So when he had eaten, his strength came back to him; for he had eaten no bread nor drunk water for three days and three nights. 13 Then David said to him, “To whom do you belong, and where are you f...

Bible Reading: 2 Sam. 9:1-6 "1 Now David said, “Is there still anyone who is  left of the house of Saul, that I may show him  kindness for Jonathan’s sake?”   2 And there was a servant of the house of Saul whose name was Ziba. And  Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was no  one who could interpret them for Pharaoh. 9 Then the chief butler spoke to Pharaoh,  saying: “I remember my faults this day." Our God has a way of settling our situations. As long as we can pray and seek His face, God will never abandon us for a moment. If we will not give up on Him He can never give up on us. He has ordained helpers for everyone of us. He set men and woman who should lift us up from our falling stages in life and until those people remember us things might not ch...

Bible Reading: Luke 5:10-11 "10 and so also were James and John, the sons of Zebedee, who were partners with  Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid. From now on you will catch men.” 11 So when they had brought their boats to land, they forsook all and followed Him." We were made to know that, every occurrences around our lives that it is beyond our comprehension is God calling us to Himself. He uses every avenue that can make us understand His voice to speak to us. Some might be challenging situations or uncomprehending blessings, whichever it may be, He is calling you to Himself, to do what, if you may ask? To be a soul winner. Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Fakunle Emmanuel Week 28, Day 7 Saturday, 17 July, 2021. TOPIC: STUDY ON LUKE 5:1-11:  BE HUMBLE ALWAYS Memory Verse: Romans 9:16  "So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy." Bible Reading: Luke 5:8-9. "8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at  Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!”  9 For he and all who were with him were  astonished at the catch of fish which they had  taken;" Often, we believers take the mercies of God upon us to be a result of our righteousness. We feel we are righteous that's why God has been blessing us, helping us and favouring us. That we are alive is not a prove of our faithfulness, but a prove that God loves us and want to us to be a useful vessel in His hand. Peter identify what he  received as what was not deserve. He knew he was not that righteous to enjoy such benefit from God so, he was optimistic th...

TOPIC: STUDY ON LUKE 5:1-11:  NOT BY EFFORT Memory Verse: Romans 9:16  "So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy." Bible Reading: Luke 5:6-7 6 And when they had done this, they caught a  great number of fish, and their net was breaking. 7 So they signaled to  their partners in the other  boat to come and help them. And they came and  filled both the boats, so that they began to sink." God is ready to enlarge our coast. He is ready to make us great beyond our request. Most times we depend on our effort and not His blessings. We focus on our experiences and profession than God's ability. The attention we are suppose to give to God we divert it for business but still we end up toiling without good result for our effort. God determines the happenings around us, when you give Him attention He attend to your needs special...

"19 If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;" Bible Reading: Luke 5:4-6 "4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to  Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down  your nets for a catch.”  5 But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master,  we have toiled all night and caught nothing;  nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”  6 And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking. There are times when prophesies come through people we never believe could be used by God or people with doubtable character, as long as the prophesies is not negative, do the needful and move on. God can use anybody and anything to speak to you. Even when you are in doubt, give it a trial as long as it doesn't have negative impart o...

Bible Reading: Luke 5:3-4. "3 Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. And He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat. 4 When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”" Many Christians didn't fail in prayers, fastings or service but failed in obeying and carrying out God's instructions. Now if you did indeed receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?" Bible Reading: Luke 5:1-3 "1 So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the  Lake of Gennesaret,  2 and saw two boats  standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone  from them and were washing their nets. 3 Then He got into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. Memory Verse: Jere. 15:16 "16 Your words were found, and I ate them,  And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O LORD God of hosts." Bible Reading: Luke 5:1 "1 So it was, as the multitude pressed about Him to hear the word of God, that He stood by the  Lake of Gennesaret," The thirst for God's word in Christianity is very rare these days. Believers have develop the 'over familiarity' attitude with God's word. The eagerness to Know, Hear and Read God's word is no more. We go to church to dance, sing and chat with friends but the eagerness for God's word is no more. The word comes to us but we are not ready to receive it, how eager are you for God's Word? Bible Reading: Isaiah 38:17-19 "17 Indeed it was for my own peace That I had great bitterness; But You have lovingly delivered my soul from the pit  of corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back. 18 For Sheol cannot thank You, Death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your  truth. 19 The living, the living man, he shall praise You, As I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the  children." Many things makes us unqualified today for the grace of God we are enjoying. First of all is that fact that, we disobey God's word a lot. We indulge in sins as we desire. Is it the attitude of ingratitude we want to talk about? Our complain goes beyond that of the Israelite. W...
