For with God nothing shall be impossible." BIBLE READING: Genesis 45:25-28. 25. And they went up out of Egypt, and came into the land of Canaan unto Jacob their father, 26. And told him, saying, Joseph is yet alive, and he is governor over all the land of Egypt. And Jacob's heart fainted, for he believed them not. 27. And they told him all the words of Joseph, which he had said unto them: and when he saw the wagons which Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of Jacob their father revived: 28. And Israel said, It is enough; Joseph my son is yet alive: I will go and see him before I die. Jacob, (Israel), father of the twelve tribes, is our case study today. He had Joseph at an old age, and heard alot of His Dreams before he was separated from him. Truly, he believed his...

And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season. We are studying the case of Zacharias and him doubting the message from the angel. He was on duty one of the days as the Priest. So John called for two of his disciples, 19 and he sent them to the Lord to ask him, “Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?” 20 John’s two disciples found Jesus and said to him, “John the Baptist sent us to ask, ‘Are you the Messiah we’ve been expecting, or should we keep looking for someone else?’”  Today, we're studying another servant of God who doubted God and His personal revelation. We've been checking through faithful servant of God who doubted God's word, so for us to know that we are not the only one in the journey of doubt. John the Baptist introduce Jesus...

Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 2. Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. When God put His words in the month of His Prophet, they are already established just waiting for fulfillment. God will always proclaim what has been prepared but unseen to the eyes of men. He reveals His long time plans which seems outdated but He is committed t...

For with God nothing shall be impossible." BIBLE READING: Numbers 11:20 - 21 . "20 You will eat it for a whole month until you gag and are sick of it. For you have rejected the lord, who is here among you, and you have whined to him, saying, “Why did we ever leave Egypt?"" 21 But Moses responded to the lord, “There are 600,000 foot soldiers here with me, and yet you say, ‘I will give them meat for a whole month!’" Moses, A Prophet of God, the greatest leader ever, a Man who saw God face to face, spoke with Him directly, got to a stage in his walk with God that he doubted God's ability as you are doing today. Moses performed several miracles with the Israelites, enjoyed every relationship a man can enjoy with God but He still doubted if God can make Provi...

Then Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a child be born unto him that is an hundred years old? and shall Sarah, that is ninety years old, bear? 18. And he cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? 21. And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again. 22. And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived." When God gives Vision, He also makes the Provision available as we have studied. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. BIBLE READING: 1 Kings 17:8-9. "8. And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 9. Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee." What we need to know about every Provision of God for His vision is this, they don't look like what we expected, they are always in disguise, stubborn, or look dejected but they are God's Provision for His calling upon us. Sometimes, they look to fragile compare to been rugged for the vision, like when Elijah saw Elisha who was a mechanized farmer coming into ministry. When Naaman met Elisha thinking he would pray for him instead of bathin...

And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, IF THOU SEE ME WHEN I AM TAKEN FROM THEE, IT SHALL BE SO UNTO THEE; BUT IF NOT, IT SHALL NOT BE SO." This categories of Provision are provisions you enjoyed for life, they are till death do us pass. Under this categories we have many of them,  First of these is God, who sent you on an errand, your strength giver, He said, "20. ... And, Lo, I Am With You Alway, Even Unto The End Of The World. And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, 9. Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee." Yesterday, we studied Short Time Provision which lasted just for a while. Most time we think we have them all and want more of such provision but they are soon exhausted.  Today, we shall be checking Long Time Provision. These provisions are always available for long, so most times, we take them for granted. We have developed over familiarity with them and they seems not to be seen as provision but as right which i...

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. BIBLE READING: 1 Kings 17:7-9. "7. Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee." Yesterday, we discussed " Provision is Timely" . We got to know that, one can miss the provision if care is not taken. Missing a ladder might not be easy to recover, it needs enough strenght to keep moving on. Today, we're talking about different time frame for Provision. For every Vision given by God, there are many Provisions attache...

And he said, Certainly I will be with thee; and this shall be a token unto thee, that I have sent thee: When thou hast brought forth the people out of Egypt, ye shall serve God upon this mountain. The greatest of all provision for God vision is God going with us, leading the way and giving us instructions every moment. This is what to know, God knew we can't make the journey on our own. He knew we don't even know the routes to the vision He's giving us but He's present is the only strength that will make all journey easier. "Go, And Gather The Elders Of Israel Together, And Say Unto Them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:" The first provision God will always make available for His vision is "Human Provision", supporters of Vision. God's vision is always bigger than what one man or woman can carry. It's always wider than you can imagine, so, He always makes provisions of man ( human support) to accomplish the vision. He told Moses "Go, And Gather The Elders Of Israel Together." Provision of elders...

We continue to list some ways God's vision is received.  4. Through Service.  Joshua Numb. 27:18 & Joshua 1:1-2. and 2 Kings 1. Elijah. God gives one vision while serving Him. We made it known yesterday that, God is the giver of Vision. We don't just choose our vision, we follow His leading. Then, how do we discover the Vision of God for our lives? Let's check through the manual of God. God can reveal our vision to us in diverse ways. The scripture point to us how we can receive our assignment through God. 1. Through God's Directives. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes." As we round up our study on the Topic, "What kills Faith?", We shall be studying "Trusting In Men", this is another Faith killer. When you expect much from men than God, when you run to men instead of God, you are killing your faith in God and strengthening your Faith in man which is not reliable. Yes, God uses men but He decides on who to use not our decision. So, when we put our confidence in men our faith diminishes in God. For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise." We, as Christians, are to be encouraged and motivated by the growth of other's faith. We're to be lifted by seeing and hearing other's testimony of faith not to compare ourselves with them. We're not to use them as a measure to know where our faiths lies. Faith is in sizes and depends on our connectivity with God. When we begin to compare our level of faith with others, we tend to find reasons to kill our Faith.  Someone's faith may ca...

Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Faith is unseen but action is the proof or evidence of it. Faith backed up with action increases and reproduces more reasons to grow in Faith. When you declare your Faith, you need to work it out with your action. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." BIBLE READING: Isaiah 29:13. During those period, Lust can't sustain you, because lust only came for what to get not what to contribute, when this is not achieved, lust leads you out of the marriage. So love is what sustains you to endure the trying time before the enjoyment. Marriages built on lust are filled with lies, pretence, domestic...
