Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel  Week 18, Day 1:  Sunday, 30th April, 2023.  Topic: HANDLING DEPRESSION 1: Why Down Casted? MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 24:10. "10. If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. BIBLE READING: Psalms 43:5 "5. Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God." This week, we shall be focusing on How To Handle Depression. The first way to handle depression is by identifying the source of depression. What is casting down your mind, troubling your heart? Is it what men said to you? Attitude of men towards you? Lost of loved ones or lost of job or properties? You need to identify the cause of depression before you know how to handle it. When the source of depression can't be identify, solution can't be gotten.  When you're depressed by what you don't have or what people say ab...

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel  Week 17, Day 7:  Saturday, 29th April, 2023.  Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 7?: Are You Qualified Before Him? MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 14:12. "12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." BIBLE READING: Romans 12:1 "1. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Today, we shall be studying the person presenting the offering before God. This is an important aspect of our offering. The scripture said concerning Cain,  "But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. Genesis 4:5" Cain was rejected and his offering was also rejected. If you as a person is not accepted before God your offering can't be accepted. So, your personality comes before your offering. Paul said, "ye...

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." BIBLE READING: Exodus 25:1-2. "1. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 2. Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering." Giving is meant to be releasing what one has Willingly, without being compel to do so. It's not a giving we are cajoled or persuaded to do. Giving is a request by God to all human, not just christians, in other to affect lives and Ministers positively. Giving isn't a business of "Give me I Give you back" but a game of Meeting needs in order to have our needs divinely met some day. God commanded the Israelites to bring Him an offering, willingly and fr...

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel  Week 17, Day 5:  Thursday, 27th April, 2023.  Topic: IS IT GOOD FOR GOD 5?: Let Go Of It. MEMORY VERSE: Proverbs 14:12. "12. There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." BIBLE READING: Genesis 15:9-11. "9.And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon. 10. And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not. 11. And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away." Today's lesson may seems somehow. When we give God our offerings, it's not part of our duty to monitor what the offerings are used for because we are not assigned to monitor it, Yes. Many want to know what the tithes, offerings, Seed of faith or Pledges are used for after giving,...

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." BIBLE READING: Acts 5:1-2. 1. But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, 2. And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet." We Christians, in the name of giving to God, do attract the anger of God upon ourselves. Our givings are not acceptable to God because of our attitude and actions before the offerings were released. Our God still remains Faithful and everything that has to do with Him must be done Faithfully.  Ananias and Sapphire were willing to give to God. They saw others selling their properties and giving the proceed to God, so they decided to do the same. They s...

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." BIBLE READING: Luke 21:1-4. "1. And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I 3. say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4. For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had." When we go to God with our offerings, seed of faith, pledges, and tithes, what do we have in mind? "I want to pay the highest", "Pastor must see me as the highest tither", or "God, this is all I have, accept it from me". God Is not moved b...

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." BIBLE READING: 1 Samuel 15:8-9. "8. And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword. 9. But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly. Yesterday, we saw one of the reasons why Cain's offering was rejected and Abel's offering was accepted. Today, we shall be studying Saul's sacrifice.  God gave instruction to Saul to destroy the whole city of Amalek, both human and animal. But he selected those that seems good to him and...

And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5. But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. This week, we shall be focusing on what we offer to God, are they Good For God? Are they acceptable in His sight? And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say: 12. For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say." Our topic today, Says, "Be Filled With God's Word." Jesus while speaking with His disciples, said in the times of triers, persecution, opposition and end time, when we are brought before rulers for our believe in Christ, we shouldn't bother of what to say on our own but the Spirit of God, within us, will teach us what to say, this is my emphasy today, what will the Spirit teach you? And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. BIBLE READING: Luke 12:10. "10. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven. Jesus came to the world to put an end to our sins, deliver us from every power of darkness, and show us light and way to God the Father. Cogent reason is for our sins to be forgiven, so blasphemy against Jesus will be forgiven because that was the reason of His death. But to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit of God, is not allowed, because such will not be forgiven. You call yourself Jesus Christ, you may wroth miracle with evil powers, prophesy with the name Jesus and still escape but you don't crack such jokes with the Holy Spirit. Hol...

Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: 9. But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God. Today's lesson calls for who we confess everywhere we are. To confess Jesus, as Lord and Saviour, doesn't end with what we say or when we're carrying our Bible, No, it goes beyond that. We confess Jesus with our attitude everywhere we are, in our place of work, home, marriages, and environments. The words of our mouths and our action either confesses or deny Jesus. How we handle issues around us, who we flock with, our thoughts, all of these shows what we stands for. Jesus told Peter, "be...

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. While Christ was teaching His disciples, He emphasized on how special we are to God. He made it known that, no matter what we go through, God hasn't forgotten us. He compared us to the sparrows, the birds, in the sky who is less important and how God never forgets them. He made it known how important we are to Him, that the hair of our head are known to God. God cares for us regardless of what we face and go through, we are not forgotten. This is his word to us, we should Fear not whatever the...

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. BIBLE READING: Luke 12:4-5. "4. And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." Yesterday, we studied about keeping Secret away from our loved ones, and we said, it will surely be exposed if we will not expose it ourself. Today, our topic have a link with what Jesus exposed to us yesterday. One of the reason why we fear Men more than God Is keeping secrets. Jesus knew why He was telling the disciple not to keep secret because, keeping Secret makes you fear Men. When the fear of God lives in you, you will do that wh...

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel  Week 16, Day 2:  Monday, 17th April, 2023.  Topic: CHRIST TEACHING 2: Keeping Secret MEMORY VERSE John 8:32. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. BIBLE READING: Luke 12:2-3. 2. For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. 3. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. The second lesson of Jesus Christ is about Keeping Secrets, hiding the truth about a matter, Jesus said, all will be expose. Corrupt act in place of work, going into rituals or being part of an occultic group, having extramarital affairs, it will be expose sooner or later, why? Because nothing is hidden before God. Keeping secrets brings fear, and makes one live a life of suspicious. Keeping Secret makes you live in lies all the days of your life...

Jesus turned first to his disciples and warned them, “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees—their hypocrisy.  This week, we will be digging out some lessons from Jesus teachings in the Book of Luke 12. Many truth hidden in this teaching that we all need to know. The first lesson today, Jesus said to His disciples, "Beware of the yeast of the pharisees, their Hypocrisy." What is this yeast? Jesus was talking about the attitude and way of life of the Pharisees. Remember what He said in,  Matthew 6:5, "5. And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23. Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. The Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ places us above all power and principalities, in heaven and on earth. He make us rule over everything that ruled over us. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men." The Death and Resurrection of our Lord and Saviour is the pivot of our walk with God. Without this sacrifice there wouldn't have been any different from other religion. When Jesus resurrected, the scripture made it known that, He ascended up on High and led captivity captive, meaning, the hunter became the hunted and captived. He took hold of the tormentor of men, He put him under His control.  Back to when He was yet to be killed, he said to the seventy disciples,  "19.
