After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." BIBLE READING: Isaiah 52:11-12. "11. Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD. 12. For ye shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rereward." Our rewarder rewards in every areas of Life. After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." BIBLE READING: 2 Chronicles 15:7. "7. Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded. Beloved, when we look up to men for what they will give, we will be disappointed because men can't be pleased and reward us for our commitment accordingly. Depending on the praise of men or gift won't encourage us to keep doing what is right. While doing the Will of God, many will take advantage of us, despitefully use us and feel they are smarter, pay us little or nothing at all for our contribution to their lives so our focus should be on God our rewarder. When God send His Prophet...

After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." BIBLE READING: Hebrews 11:6. "6. ... for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and That He Is A Rewarder Of Them That Diligently Seek Him. We serve a God who never owes anyone their rewards. When we talk about reward, it's not specifically reward for good deeds alone, He also rewards for bad deeds. He gives rewards accordingly without mixing it up. The reward of God usually comes at the right time (unexpectedly). Most times we look confuse if God ever saw what we are going through, how men treats us in the time of needs compare to how we had attended to people when they are in need. This is the reason why He...

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; 24. Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. God, being our Exceeding Great reward, is not Restricted nor limited to our place of worship. It goes beyond meeting in the church to every areas of our lives. We are being paid wages or salary for our service everywhere we worked, either low or high, it's an agreement which we both signed. But how we handle our responsibility matters alot and this determines our reward. Yesterday, we said anything receiv...

That I will not take from a thread even to a shoe latchet, and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich: Welcome to the last week of August. We will be considering the Topic, "God Our Greatest Reward". It's a wonder many of us are fervent in the service of God but have our gaze fixed wrongly for our reward. Yes, a labourer is worthy of his wages but can't determine where His wages is coming from. ...

And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken." Welcome to the last day of "When God Visits". There's always a major reason why God visits a man or a woman. When God visits you, alot of benefits follows but He has a major testimony He will wants to establish. Sarah was an old woman who Faithfully followed his elder brother turned husband but she was without a child. But God visited the family and gave a promise to revisit them. Then, the day came when God visited and brought His promise to fulfilment in Sarah's life.  When God visited ...

And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet. Beloved, it's a wonderful experience when we welcome God's presence. God's visitation is one of the valuable experience to crave for. Another benefit to enjoy from God's visitation is becoming a "Valuable Tool in God's hand", being a tool that can't be tolled with by men. We become a god to God's enemy. We become the battle axe In His hand as He promised Jacob in Jeremiah 51:20. When Moses responded to God's visitation and Given purpose, He became a Valuable ...

"In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee." Yesterday we said when God visit, PURPOSE IS GIVEN. Today we are focusing on "OPEN CHEQUE VISITATION" when God visits. I want us to know, it's always a rear privilege to experience God's visitation. What comes with God during Visitation are enormous. He gives us an Open Cheque. Most of the benefits we've studied earlier has been God visiting not people inviting him. Here, Solomon invited God not knowing the consequences. When God came, He woke Him, What Do You Want? What an o...

"Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt." Welcome to Today's devotional, as we proceed on our topic, "When God Visit". We started with the benefit of God's Visit which are, "Peace of Mind," "Revelation of Who God is", and "Revelation of who we are to God". Another reasons for God's visitation is to make "Our Purpose Known". Our assigned assignment before creation of the world. God visit to make this known to us so we won't be jumping around. And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you." The third benefit of God's visitation is Knowing God the more, Revelation of who God is. Whenever God visits He gives a definition of who He is that we never knew him to be before. He reveal that which we never knew about His person. Moses ask God who He was and God reintroduced Himself in a way Moses never heard.  When He visited Paul on his way to carry out his threat against Christians in Acts 9:5, the scripture said, "5. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. Welcome to day two of our topic" WHEN GOD VISIT". The second benefit of God's visitation is Revelation, making the unknown become known to you. Revealing who you are created to be. Revelation is the reason for achieving unprecedented accomplishment. When God visits you He come to let you know how important you are to Him . When God met with Gideon, He revealed to him who he was created to be, He called him, The mighty Man of Valour, the deliverer of Israel. He makes you realize what is h...

BIBLE READING: Judges 6:23 And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die. Welcome to this week Devotional as we study the benefits one enjoys when "The God Visit". The presence of the Lord has many benefits and that's why many who experience God's visitation never remain the same, I pray for someone today, you will experience God's visitation in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. The first benefit of God's visitation is PEACE OF MIND. Most times when God visits we tend to be afraid, fearful or feel jittery but that's not what the presence of God brings. That's why the first statemen...

Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye  Emmanuel  Week 33, Day 6:  Friday, 18th August 2023.  TOPIC: TEACHINGS ON GIVING - Why Giving? (13) MEMORY VERSE:  Acts 20:35. "35. ..., It is more blessed to give than to receive. BIBLE READING:  Luke 6:38. "38. Give, and it shall be given unto you; ..." Today, being the last day of our topic for the past two weeks, the last reason for Giving is, "IT'S A COMMAND." Yes a command from our lord Jesus Christ. To be a giver is obeying the commandment of our lord and Saviour. If He says it, then we need to do it. We establish it yesterday that, our giving is to close the gap between us and the needy. Jesus won't say Give when you don't have what to give. It's part of our instructions as believers. Jesus practiced this principle many times. When he finished preaching in Matthew 14:16-21, He felt He need to give the people food despite preaching in the wilderness. He gave four loaves of bread and t...

"35. ..., It is more blessed to give than to receive. BIBLE READING:  Job 29:12-13. "12. Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him. 13. The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy." The second reason why we give is to MEET OTHERS NEEDS. To create equality amongst ourselves. Have you noticed that, you can finish what you have at a particular time, nothing last forever? Have you also notice that someone has been there for you in time past? Also, there's a joy that fills our heart when we attend to the needs of others. Our giving is to solve problems, putting smile on people's face, healing wounds and making others special. Moreso, giving to others solves our problem. Jo...

"35. ..., It is more blessed to give than to receive. BIBLE READING:  Proverbs 11:24 24 Give freely and become more wealthy;     be stingy and lose everything. (NLT). This question might have been bothering you since the beginning of this series. Must i give? Why will I give? If no one is giving me why should I give?  The first reason is this, We give to grow and increase, Yes, we release what we have in order to move forward. Let's check this scenario. As human, we give out carbon dioxide to take in oxygen. The oxygen sustains us while the plant are sustained by the carbon dioxide. Without oxygen we can't live, likewise the plants without carbon dioxide. Also, for us to grow in life we need to release something in other to get what will sustain us. You work s...

"35. ..., It is more blessed to give than to receive. BIBLE READING:  Genesis 41:9, 14 "9. Then spake the chief butler unto Pharaoh, saying, I do remember my faults this day: 14. Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh." No one gets to where they are without the help of someone. Every man or woman made today was helped by someone to the top. If God will help you, He will send someone, yes. Those helpers also need your gift without requesting it. Showing appreciation after getting to the top shouldn't be the end of giving to our helpers. They also have a need you can attend to. God didn't send people to help you so you can leave them where they are, no ...

Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth." Most times God leads us to give to people we feel are okay and never need our help. People who looks better and richer than we do in appearance (but we are more better than they do). Talking about giving to our colleagues in our places of works may sound absurd but there is what God want to achieve with this. Their payroll may be more than yours, they may look wealthier than you do. Some may even be your antagonist in your office and God is leading you to give them a gift, it's not the devil, it's God's v...

Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Am glad to let you know this, no matter how righteous we are or may be, without giving we are not complete in God. "35. ..., It is more blessed to give than to receive. BIBLE READING:  Galatians 6:9-10. "6. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 7. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, ESPECIALLY UNTO THEM WHO ARE OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH. Apostle Paul speaking of doing good to others and He was specific of those to consider as priority which are, The Believers, the same Household of Faith. It's a shame to be good outside but wicked in the household of Faith. Most times we prefer to give gifts to those outside our faith, it's not wrong but there are people to consider First.  In Acts 4:34-35, "34. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward." Today, we are discussing about Giving to Men of God. I know many will say, "They have enough" but it was also given to them by someone like me and you, and do you know what, those givers are receiving the blessing. Ministers of God deserves gift in and out of season. They are a link and a representative of God to us. They close the bridge between us and God. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) 3. That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth." Our focus today is Giving To Parent, not as duty but as a blessing. Giving to parent is more blessed than other givings because God recommended it with a blessing. As parent, their focus was to bring up a child in the way of the Lord and prepare them for a better future so that these children can reciprocate this gesture when they are grown and the parent are retired so to say.  According to King Solomon in Psalms 127:3-5, children are the hope of parents at old age. Today, we are studying "Giving To Spouse" which is also an accepted giving to God. In marriage, giving is a two way things and is one of the best way to have a lasting marriage. Many feels it's the responsibility of the man to give to his wife and children and for the woman to only receive and be engaged in the house chores alone, this is a wrong assertion for believers. Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel  Week 31, Day 7:    Saturday, 5th August 2023.  TOPIC : Psalms 23: Confidence Assurance of Safety (7). MEMORY VERSE:  John 10:11. "11. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." BIBLE READING:  Psalms 23:6 "6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." These last part of Psalms 23 has been the chorus of all believers worldwide, declaring the summary of those whose Shepherd is Jesus Christ. Goodness and Mercy is of the Lord not of any Man. God alone is able to give this to whosoever He desire to release it to. The shepherd made all these possible for the sheep who listens to His voice, abides by his instructions and relies on him. Any sheep that forsakes the shepherd is prone to the opposite of these until he gets back to the fold.  "All the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the h...

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." BIBLE READING:  Psalms 23:5. "5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over." Today, another benefit we shall be looking at from the Psalms of David is Divine Establishment. When we depend on Him fully, we enjoy being Establish, firmness in His protection. What do I mean by Establishment? It is being able to stand without the fear of opposition when we trust in God. The sheep are not bothered in the presence of their enemies. They live as King and Queen because the shepherd makes all needs and protection available. What David meant is, being establish regardless of who is after you. Enjoying the available grace and mercy of God in the...

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." BIBLE READING:  Psalms 23:4. 4. .... Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." A wonderful day to you all. Today, we move further to see more benefits of having the shepherd ahead of us. Shepherds are known with a staff, it's a symbol of a Shepherd. The staff serve two purposes which David named. If can be used as a staff and at the same time a rod. A staff for Direction, control, to clear the way ahead of the sheep. It can also serve as a Rod for correction, rebuke and protection of the sheep from predators. The same staff that brought plague on the Egyptians as a Rod is the same staff that made a way on the Red Sea for the Israelite.  David said, thy Staff and thy Rod brings comfort. When Jesus lea...

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep." BIBLE READING:  Psalms 23:4. "4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:" No fear but Confidence. When David was recounting his testimony to King Saul, he said, "34. And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: 35. And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him. 1 Samuel 17:34-35. That is what a shepherd does, so the sheep have no fear of evil. Even in the face of glaring oppositions, they are confident. If David can rescue a sheep from a bear, how much more ...
