Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 36, Day 7, Saturday, 6th September, 2025 TOPIC: Psalms 23. Shepherd Guarantee Safety (6)

TOPIC: Psalms 23. Shepherd Guarantee Safety (6)

One Year Bible Reading:
Proverbs 18 - 19,
2 Corinthians 5 - 6:1 - 2.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 23:1.
"1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want."

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 23:5.
"5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over."

Thinking Point:
The Shepherd guarantees the safety of all sheep in his care.

A beautiful day ahead of you with renewed strength and grace for profit in Jesus name, Amen.

The shepherd and the sheep. When the sheep surrenders to the shepherd safety is guaranteed without struggling. The Psalmist said in Psalm 91:1,
"1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."

The secret place of the most high is the care of the shepherd, under his staff, under His tutelage. The shepherd secures His sheep from the devourer and feeds them in their presence. King Solomon said,
"7. When people’s lives please the lord, even their enemies are at peace with them" - Proverbs 16:7.

When we walk with the shepherd, when our way is in line with the shepherd's way, our enemy will seek for peace instead of trouble.
You will be fed in the presence of your enemy and their desires will be to give them your left over, why? Because they dare not attack the shepherd with you. They dare not make an attempt against you for you are under the shadow of the almighty God, the good shepherd.
Your enemy will be at peace with you in Jesus name, they will have no choice than to make you a friend because they will enjoy being your friend rather than being your enemy. The Lord has prepared a table before us and in the presence of our enemies in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Good morning, and God bless you.
