Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 37, Day 2, Monday, 8th September, 2025 TOPIC: Psalms 23. Assurance of Our Safety (2)

TOPIC: Psalms 23. Assurance of Our Safety (2)

One Year Bible Reading:
Proverbs 22 - 23,
2 Corinthians 7:2 - 16.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 23:1.
"1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want."

BIBLE READING:
Psalms 23:6.
"6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

Thinking Point:
Being with the shepherd attracts Goodness and Mercy beyond work and effort.

Celebrate with us, today is our 13th year's Wedding Anniversary, To God be the Glory forevermore. God has been there for us, we return the praise to Him alone.

We bless the Lord for the entrance to His word that gives light for the past days we've been studying Psalms 23. It's more insightful than what we are used to. Today we round up this study with the last verse which says,
"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."

This is a declaration we should make daily as we step out of our houses, it should be a word that never departs our mouth everyday because this is the will of God for every sheep in His fold, goodness and mercy shall follow us for the rest of our days in Jesus name, Amen.

Goodness and mercy is the favorable sight of God upon man. It's God beholding us with all the benefits of following and obeying His word. It's God handling all areas of our lives Himself without any penetration from the hired shepherd who is the devil. When we surrender to Him and His will we have access to His goodness and mercy all the days of our lives. It brings an end to toiling, suffering, struggling and stagnation, may we enjoy His goodness and mercy this week in Jesus name, Amen.

Above all that we've been discussing since last week about a sheep and goat, where do you belong? Where do I belong? Have you been enjoying all these benefits of being in the Shepherd's fold, if not you need to surrender your life to God, or better say, rededicate your life to God in order to have access to all that the shepherd has for you. Going to church isn't being in the shepherd's hands, it's by recognising your shepherd, obeying His instructions and following Him daily. The shepherd is willing to receive every goat who presents themselves as a sheep and tutor them. God is waiting for you, it's not too late. Goodness and mercy shall follow us all for the rest of our days in Jesus name, Amen.

Good morning, and God bless you.
