TOPIC: TYPES OF GARMENT: Garment Of Honour/Reward (5) 

ONE YEAR BIBLE READING: 
Number 3 - 4, Mark 8: 14 - 26.

MEMORY VERSE: 
Isaiah 61:3. 
"To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified."

BIBLE READING: 
Esther 6:7- 10
"7. So he replied, “If the king wishes to honor someone,"
"8. he should bring out one of the king’s own royal robes, as well as a horse that the king himself has ridden—one with a royal emblem on its head."
"9. Let the robes and the horse be handed over to one of the king’s most noble officials. And let him see that the man whom the king wishes to honor is dressed in the king’s robes and led through the city square on the king’s horse. Have the official shout as they go, ‘This is what the king does for someone he wishes to honor!’”
"10. “Excellent!” the king said to Haman. “Quick! Take the robes and my horse, and do just as you have said for Mordecai the Jew, who sits at the gate of the palace. Leave out nothing you have suggested!”"

Thinking Point: 
The garment of honour restores one's delayed or deprived blessings and position. My prayer today is that every rightful blessing, promotion, and honour that we have been denied in time past be restored to us in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

In time past, many have been denied our rightful possessions or placements. What belongs to us has been given to someone else who doesn't deserve or worked for it. However, when God's remembrance comes, the garment of honour is released without any negative influence. This shall be our portion in Jesus' name, Amen.

Mordecai saved the king's life and was supposed to be honoured, but instead, Haman was honoured and lifted, which gave him more pride against the real candidate of honour. However, when God was to clothe Mordecai with the garment of honour, his act was called to remembrance, and the king asked, "What was done to him after saving the king's life?" He realized nothing was given to him, then he requested that Mordecai be rewarded.

Mordecai's reward was to be clothed with the garment of honour by a reputable chief, who was Haman himself. Mordecai was clothed with the garment of honour, sat on the king's horse, and was announced to the whole city by Haman. Although it was just a day, it marked the beginning of the end for his oppressor.

I pray today that our day for the garment of honour is here in Jesus' name. We will be honoured where we have been relegated in Jesus' name, Amen.

When the garment of honour is released, we are changed forever, and situations turn for our good. 

Father, release the garment of honour upon me to reclaim my rightful possessions in life, family, ministry, and in the world in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
