YOUR MARRIAGE CAN WORK: Episode 1

INTRODUCTION

I welcome you to this new weekly article titled “Your Marriage Can Work". Marriage is an institute created by God for humans. It's a place established for communion between man and woman. It's a place for companionship and intimacy, where two builds together regardless of difference. But gradually, the main intention of God for marriage has been somehow defeated or replaced by self and human ideology. Many believe you can enter the institute, pack out at will then, join another train. 


We shall be digging into God’s intention and rules that guide this institute. We shall be studying from the pages of the Bible what God said concerning wives and husbands. It's my prayer that this article will heal marriages, rebuild broken and struggling homes in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.


We will be comparing the instructions of God about marriage from biblical standards to that of man's principles, and reasons why marriages failed. I believe every marriage can work when both are willing to make it work. Marriage entails Sacrifice, Commitment, Endurance, Forgiveness, Patience and above all Trust. Every functioning and successful marriage today is a product of these Six (6) qualities. 


As we look forward to our second edition of this article, let us think on the qualities lacking in our marriages and prepare to work towards them and the Lord will restore our desired peaceful home in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
