Psalms 136:1-2.

Nehemiah 8:10.
"10. Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength"
Thinking Point:
Draw strength from the Joy of the Lord in all situations.
Today is the third day of December, you shall receive an idea for every uncompleted project, dreams and purpose in life in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
There are times in life that celebration looks impossible, it seems as if it didn't befit the moment we find ourselves. When we looked back and compared it to where we are, we felt, "why should I be grateful? Why me? What have I done to deserve this?" Smiling seems abnormal at that moment. Thinking of all that has changed in your life, but here is what God is saying this morning, at that moment, The Joy of the Lord should be your strength. That moment shouldn't take over the You in God but you are to overtake it with the Joy of the Lord.
The Joy of the Lord simply means, "it will be better. Things will change. I'm in the plan of God and He can't throw me away. The situation may warrant us to be sorrowful, bitter, and feel hated for everything around us, but by activating the Joy of the Lord from within not from the happening, celebration will emerge. One good thing about celebration, as I said in my last devotion, is that it's a choice you make. It's not to be made for you or for me, we choose to celebrate. We choose not to be carried away by what we see and what others are saying. When the Israelite heard the word of God and discovered they've derailed from God's plans for their lives, they wept and were sorrowful but the Levites said to them, forgot about what you've done in the past, do not mourn, for today is a day to celebrate God's faithfulness, be joyful not sorrowful. I don't know what you think went wrong in your life. I don't know the blame you are putting on yourself for your present situation but this is what i know, God has taken them away from your life, be joyful that God is giving you a new start. Be encouraged by the Joy of the Lord for all things will turn for your good.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
