Thinking Point:
Being Satisfied isn't a reason for waste but saving for the coming day.
Glory to God our Father the supplier of all needs and giver of life. Whatever seems not to be enough in your life and my life, my God is making provision beyond expectations in Jesus' Mighty name, amen.
Our God is a provider, our sustainer and sufficiency. He made ways and provisions for His children in the time of needs and He will not stop in doing it. Jesus, our Lord, fed more than 5,000 men with women and children with five loaves of barley and two small fishes. They were satisfied without anyone running after the remnant. There was overflowing to the extent that there was leftovers. Then Jesus called His disciples and instructed them, "Gather the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost", why? Because every left over belongs to someone somewhere. What you count a waste is someone desire. What you are wasting is what someone will survive on.
When we've had enough, how do we handle what is left? How do you treat your domestic staff when you are full? Who do you give the remnant to when you are satisfied, dogs or people who are in need? Do you consider wastage of resources when you are satisfied? Are you conscious of wastage at all or do you live recklessly with your resources? Jesus said, "Gather the fragment that nothing wastes." Do we keep to this with our resources? Let this be cleared, not being wasteful doesn't mean to be stingy neither doesn't mean to be wasteful but meeting others needs when you are satisfied. It means not enjoying and forgetting others with what you have left. Don't be too carried away with being satisfied and waste the way you have left. Some persons consume all the blessings as it comes in forgetting the days of needs. They waste the available resources in the timing days forgetting the days of dry seasons. The provision that is available today, may not be available tomorrow but how you handled the past provision will determine what you will survive on today. Jesus hates wastage so we should avoid it. When you have leftovers use it as a blessing to others or reserve for coming days. Learn to preserve instead of waste. Learn to bless others with the leftovers but don't waste the blessings of God.
God Bless you and Good Morning.
