Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 33, Day 3 Tuesday, 13th August 2024. TOPIC: UNREQUESTED FAVOUR: By Rightly Position (3)

TOPIC: UNREQUESTED FAVOUR: By Rightly Position (3)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
"11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

BIBLE READING:
John 5:5-8.
"5. And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years."
"6. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?"
"7. The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me."
"8. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk."

Thinking Point:
Consistently maintaining your position is an invite to receiving unrequested favour from God.

Today, you will be located by those who will help you, and be remembered by those who are indebted to you in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.

The third tools that can attract God's unrequested favour is being consistent in what you do(good deeds) , that location He placed you. Even in the storms, during the flood, when opposed, and when left alone, if God has positioned you in a place keep waiting for His arrival. When we are with the Lord, every "Wait Here For Me" is a blessing for us no matter how many days or years it takes Him to return.

The impotent man was waiting for the move of the Lord via the "Move of the Water". They all believed "The Move of the Water" brings healing from God. But God moves in mysterious way. When He says i'm coming, He may come through the door, window or through the wall but be rest assured that, He is coming. The impotent man had no idea of God in the person of Jesus, i never thought he has heard about Him before then. What if he had given up on the move of the water and left for his home? What if he had no more faith and returned to the street to beg? But he was waiting for the move of the water. His consistency brought the unrequested favour from Jesus who was a passer-by. Like we said last week in our devotional, you don't have to quit because of circumstances or delay, if He says do this, keep doing it. When He says, stay here, remain there. You will not miss that Unrequested favour of God in Jesus name. Keep believing, God is sending someone that will grant that favour you least expected. It's our turn to be favoured beyond our request in Jesus Name, Amen.

Good Day and God Bless you.
