TOPIC: INGREDIENTS OF FAITH: Testifying (8) One Year Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 8 - 11 Acts 2: 22 - 47 MEMORY VERSE: Hebrews 11:1. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." BIBLE READING: Romans 10:15   “And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”” Thinking Point:   Faith is not complete until you speak to others about your experience. Every issue where you applied faith will become a testimony. Faith doesn’t fail or fade. Faith lives and reproduces. So shall it be in our lives, in Jesus’ name, Amen. We’ve discussed four ingredients of faith. Today we see the last: Testifying Your Faith. Three days ago I taught “Speaking Your Faith”. Testifying is telling others the result and outcome of your faith.  Preaching is telling what God has done for you and what He can do for them if they believe. You don’t p...

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." BIBLE READING: James 2:17-18 “17. Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.” Thinking Point:   Faith without steps is just talk. Action proves your belief is real. The Holy Spirit is enabling us today to do all things right in a way that will glorify God, in Jesus’ name, Amen. I welcome you to the continuation of our study, “Ingredients of Faith”. We now proceed to the fourth ingredient, which is “Taking Action” — the most important aspect of faith. Our actions are proof that we are expecting change in our lives.  Many speak what they believe but never act on it, which makes it remain a wor...

TOPIC: INGREDIENTS OF FAITH: Speaking Your Faith: (6) One Year Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 1 - 4 Acts 1:1 - 26 MEMORY VERSE: Hebrews 11:1. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." BIBLE READING: Numbers 14:28. “Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:” Thinking Point:   Your words create your world. Your words reflect what you believe. Every word of God concerning you and me will be activated today. Every word we rejected with our mouth unknowingly is reversed in Jesus’ name, Amen. The ingredients of faith have been our focus. We started with ‘Hearing God’s word’, moved to ‘Believing God’s word’, and today we proceed to ‘Speaking what we Believe’ — declaring what you believe God will do. In creation, God spoke what He believed, not what was happening. He operated by faith, Genesis 1:1-31. Believers today hear and believe, so we pray, but we speak contrary to wh...

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." BIBLE READING: John 1:12 “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:” Thinking Point:   Until you believe what you’ve heard, it will never produce a result. This week will be productive, healthy, and peaceful for us. No matter what happens around us and across the nation, we are exempted in Jesus’ name. Our faith will make us whole in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. Yesterday, we discussed the first ingredient of faith, which is Hearing — hearing God’s word. Today we move on to the second ingredient of faith, which is BELIEVING. What you believe is what brings changes into your life.  When we hear messages, a choice is presented to us. And we said yesterday that hearing is a choice; ...

As we appear in Zion today, or strength shall be renewed, we will experience God's healing power over every unhealed wounds in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen. We have been defining Faith fire the past three days. We said Faith is Action Before Evidence. Secondly, Faith is “Confidence In The Unseen. And lastly, Faith is "Chosen Possibility over Problem”. These are definitions of Faith. Faith isn’t magic. It’s a recipe.  We shall be studying the ingredients of Faith. Romans 10 gives us 5 ingredients. When you Miss one your faith stays w...

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." BIBLE READING: Mark 9:23. “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”   Thinking Point: Faith is a choice to make, a decision to believe in possibilities. This is the day that the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it. It doesn’t matter how the week has been, give God the praise for being alive and healthy because He has done well for us, Hallelujah. As we continue in our exploration of faith, I want to say: Faith is a choice for those who choose to walk in it. It’s a personal decision. Nobody will believe for you, you have to believe it yourself. Others can join their faith with yours but you must have a little of it first. Faith is choosing between possibilities and proble...

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.   Thinking Point: Faith is believing in the reality of the unseen spoken word. It's a new day with fresh and new mercies from God. Today, God will enhance our faith to activate His promises, and all fears will be subdued to bring to reality the intention of God for us in Jesus name, Amen. Yesterday, we concluded that faith is 'Your Action Before Evidence’, you are acting without an unseen end result. Today, I would say, Faith sees with the heart what the eyes cannot see. You can't see what was spoken, nothing shows the possibility but faith builds the reality of it. Hebrews says real faith is assurance about things n...

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." BIBLE READING: James 2:17. "17. Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.   Thinking Point: Faith is the pillar that activate the promises of God. It's a wonderful day for you, a day full of Hope. Your long expectation of God's promises is coming to a reality in Jesus name, Amen. We shall be speaking on Faith in this series as God will be revealing the ingredients of Faith, how faith works and what affects Faith. Faith is the pillar of Christianity. What is faith? Faith is hearing, believing and moving according to promises without seeing the opposition. Faith is believing what God said and acting on it even when it doesn't look like it. Faith means, Father, Am In Thy Hand. Faith is "Action Before Evid...

BIBLE READING: 2 Kings 4:7 "7. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest”.   Thinking Point: Identify your jar of oil, develop it and market it to set you free. Everything that looks worthless in your life is taking a new shape of honour in Jesus' mighty name. No matter the issue before you, God is taking over from you in Jesus' wonderful name, Amen. Today, as I round up this study, I want to summarize in three paragraphs what this study should do for you. Go to God We all have an untapped potential that we need to recognise. Everyone that is great today discovered something that turns their lives around. God has potent...

TOPIC: STUDY ON 2 KINGS 4: Consistent Instructions Breeds Consistent Success (10)  One Year Bible Reading: 1 Chronicles 9 - 10 John 17 MEMORY VERSE: 2 Tim. 2:15  "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." BIBLE READING: 2 Kings 4:7 "7. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest”.   Thinking Point: When you stop receiving fresh instructions you start derailing. In this month of "Walking In Faith", our faith will grow to move mountains and make crooked roads straight in Jesus name, we will experience evidence of faith in every area of our lives before this month runs out in Jesus name, Amen. I would like us to think of this scenario: a student who starts his academic studies and attends lectures regularly then changes his mind by not attending the lectures regularly. What will happen to suc...
