Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 33, Day 4 Wednesday, 14th August 2024. TOPIC: UNREQUESTED FAVOUR: By Presenting A Request (4)

TOPIC: UNREQUESTED FAVOUR: By Presenting A Request (4)

MEMORY VERSE:
Jeremiah 29:11.
"11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."

BIBLE READING:
Acts 3:2-6.
"2. And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;"
"3. Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms."
"4. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us."
"5. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them."
"6. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk."

Thinking Point:
Unrequested Favour simply means, God doing beyond your desires or what you expected of Him.

You will marvel for what the Lord will make happen In your life, none of your request will fall to the ground in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Receiving unrequested favour from God doesn't implies we shouldn't ask for something. I'm not saying, don't present your desires to Him, it's just to let you know that, God has the ability to do beyond your request, your desire and unknown needs of yours. Remember the word of the Lord in Isaiah 55:8-9 which says,
"8. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."
"9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Our request can never be equal to what God has in stock for us. When we think we have a big request to place before God, (smile), I know it's still very small compare to what He intended for us.

From our Bible reading today, the lame man at the beautiful gate has expectations, desires and request like you and I, but what God has in plan for Him, through Peter and John, was far, far more than his expectation. If he had never presented any request, the Apostles might not look His way but just walk into the temple. We have studied those who never requested but God granted them unrequested favour. We've study those who were busy for God and God cared for them ahead of their request. This case, he asked for his want but God gave him his need. Walking on his foot put an ends to begging for daily living. I don't know that request you are putting before God but this i know, He has the ability to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could ask or ever imagine of Him, (Eph. 3:20), this is the unrequested favour i'm talking about, ours will be release today in Jesus name, Amen. No matter what you are asking from Him, unrequested favour remains with God to grant to whoever He pleases, we shall enjoy it this week in Jesus Name, Amen. Keep asking, don't stop, He will surely release it to you in Jesus name, Amen.

Good Day and God Bless you.
