TOPIC: SERVICE; A DUTY: Doesn't Benefit God (3)

MEMORY VERSE: 
Exodus 23:25.
"25. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."

BIBLE READING: 
Psalms 100: 3
"3. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Thinking Point:
Our services to people isn't a favour to God But a favour to us. God doesn't need our Help but we do need His help.

What The Lord has begun in your life no power will be against it in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Beloved, we can't help God neither can we bless God. God doesn't need our help nor assistance. Serving Him in the church and elsewhere isn't a big deal to God. He only did this so we can all be helped. From creation He never needed our help, none of us was called to advice nor instruct Him. He made everything by Himself for Himself to be available for us all.

Psalms 100: 3 says, 
"3. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

We belong to Him not the other way round.

Psalms 50:10-12.
"10. For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills."
"11. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine."
"12. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof."

All we are, what we have and what we will give belongs to God. So, every service we render is for our good. Helping and blessing others is for your good. There is a saying that, "What Goes Around Comes Around", so, serving others is for our benefit not God's benefit. We are not helping God when we serve in church or elsewhere, we are only serving ourselves. It's our duty to reach out, serve and help others, for God declared that, "If you serve me I will bless your bread and bless your water....". Keep serving God by serving others.
