TOPIC: SERVICE; A DUTY: Service Brings Security (7) 

MEMORY VERSE: 
Exodus 23:25.
"25. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."

BIBLE READING: 
Exodus 23:25-26.
"25. And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."
"26. There shall nothing cast their young, nor be barren, in thy land: the number of thy days I will fulfil."

Thinking Point:
God does protect what is special to Him. Those who brings Him glory, honour and pleasure through service, He will always watch over them.

May we always remain in the shelter of the Almighty daily in Jesus wonderful name, Amen.

To God alone be the Glory for the last day of the Month of August, the eight month of the year, we return all praises to Him alone. 
As we round up this morning on our focus for the week, we shall be seeing another result of Service which is Protection. Everyone keeps anything and anyone so dare to them. We have some precious souls and things around us that we never joke with or allow others to toll with, why? Because they are useful to us, they add to our lives, they are valuable and means a lot to us, likewise, God doesn't joke with those who serve His purpose on Earth. He watches over them in high esteem. He preserves them, protect them and stop anyone from harming them, He called them "the Apple of His eyes". He said of the Israelites, "
Psalms 105:14-15,
"15. He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;"
"16. Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm."

When you serve God wholeheartedly, you become "His Touch not", He preserves you from all evil, service makes you specially protected from evil.

From our study passage today, God said, when you serve Him, "He will bless your bread, bless your water and take sickness away from you." Not that alone, but "Nothing shall cast our young, Talking about our children, household, "nor be barren" meaning, our wives are fruitful, no delay around the homes of those who serves God's purpose on earth. Then He talked about days fulfilment, no untimely death around us. God preserves our lives when we are committed to serve others. He preserves those who does his bidding. When you serve others, look over them, make others happy by blessing and helping them, God preserves your life always. The Lord that preserves His servants will preserve you now and always in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Keep serving others, keep affecting lives and by so doing, you remain in God's protection, promotion and supplies.
