TOPIC: NO EXCUSES TO GIVE UP: When Mocked (5)

MEMORY VERSE: 
Judges 6:14
14 Then the lord turned to him and said, “Go with the strength you have, and rescue Israel from the Midianites. I am sending you!”

BIBLE READING: 
1 Samuel 1:6-7.
"6. So Peninnah would taunt Hannah and make fun of her because the lord had kept her from having children."
"7. Year after year it was the same—Peninnah would taunt Hannah as they went to the Tabernacle. Each time, Hannah would be reduced to tears and would not even eat." (NLT)

Thinking Point:
Mockery shouldn't be the reason you will give up on God, let it propel you to take new measure against the situation.

Every mockery in our lives will receive the attention of God in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Being mocked isn't an easy situation. Sometimes, one needs to check around before stepping out in order to avoid the mockers. Nothing good done by someone being mocked can be accepted by his/her mocker. If you belong to this group, I decree today, heaven will attend to that mockery situation in your life in Jesus name, Amen. Mockery has stopped many from attending functions, family gathering, even worship gathering, the Lord will attend to that case of yours this month. 

No matter the mockery, refuse to quit, keep moving, keep progressing and refuse to accept your mocker's opinions. Hannah was mocked even at Shiloh, in the present of the Lord, but that didn't deterred her from seeking God's face. When the mockery becomes tense, seek for God's help the more, change the tactics you've been used to. In the case of Hannah, she changed to "Vow" which broke the back of the camel. What if she decided to cry and fight Peninnah back? Or leaves Shiloh and rushed home? She may decide to go into the temple and question God for the delay instead of seeking another measure. Don't quit, you will still have that desired spouse of yours, that barrenness will still end, that job hunting will soon end, the pain, sickness and disease will soon be gone, don't just quit. Speak to God, be more committed to Him and know the source of that situation. Mockery is coming to an end in our lives in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
