TOPIC: GET UP AND MOVE ON: Don't Remain On The Ground (1) 

MEMORY VERSE:
Micah 7:8
"8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me."

BIBLE READING: 
Daniel 11:32-35
"32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits."
"33. And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering."
"34. Now when they fall, they shall be aided with a little help; but many shall join with them by intrigue."
"35. And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time."

Thinking Point:
We fall to raise not to stay down. Staying down is accepting defeat, don't be defeated.

We experience the process of falling and rising while learning to walk and growing. We were confident we could stand but we often found ourselves on the floor either. We wanted to run like others but our bones were not strong yet, so we fell. Now, as an Adult, no grown up man wants to fall on the road, no one desires to slip off while walking in the rain or within your sitting room but one thing or the other leads you to the floor. Likewise, no Christian, running the race of faith, desires to miss their steps. None desires to fall into temptation but it does happen. To slip is a sign that you were once standing, meaning you weren't on the floor all along. Stop blaming yourself for it, just get up and start moving.

The Bible said, 
"33. And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering." 

No matter how strong you are, many are working towards bringing you down. As long as you are walking towards righteousness, the devil wants you to slip. Someone else's goal is to make sure you fall Into temptation and slide backward in the race of life, if they have their way, but that's not the end, you need to Get your head up and move over again. One headache of the devil is you finding a way to rise when you fall. If those who do know their God, doing exploits for God and even instructing others in faith can fall, how happy will the devil be? But he will be more angry when they rise up from their falling.

I don't know who is giving up on rising? I don't know that righteous man that has become the laughing stock of others who is weary of standing again? Hear me today, Get Up and Move On. Falling is not a crime, remaining there is the problem. Don't be discouraged by the occurrences, Get Up and Move On. You can meet up again, don't quit. The Lord will strengthen you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
