TOPIC: LORD, HELP MY HELPERS: Establish My Helper to Help me. (4) 

MEMORY VERSE:
Ps. 60:11
"Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man."

BIBLE READING:
2 Sam. 9:1-6
"3. Then the king said, “Is there not still someone of the house of Saul, to whom I may show the kindness of God?” And Ziba said to the king, “There is still a son of Jonathan who is lame in his feet.”
"4. So the king said to him, “Where is he?” And Ziba said to the king, “Indeed he is in the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, in Lo Debar.” 
"5. Then King David sent and brought him out of the house of Machir the son of Ammiel, from Lo Debar."

Thinking Point:
An established helper finds it easier to help others. Until God settles your helper they may never remember you.

May the Lord handle the issues before our helper so they can help us early enough in Jesus' Name, Amen

Not all Helpers are that wicked or selfish. Some of them didn't forget us intentionally. Until they have a settled mind then will they remember to render help. When our helpers are still trying to catch up with their destiny they may not have us in mind. When things are not in good shape for them, our thoughts may not cross their mind, if it does we may not be on their agenda. Until things go well with them they might not know they are our helpers.

King David, after he was settled on the throne of kingship, when he had rested all around, then he remembered his promise with Jonathan, the son of King Saul. Towards the end of the chapter 8, King David settled his sons before requesting for the remnant of King Saul. When He was in the bush running from king Saul, he couldn't remember his promise to Jonathan. When he became the King of Judah, he never remembered those promises, until he became the King of the whole Israel and took over the kingdoms around his territory then, he remembered his promises. There is a level you get to in life that powers have to submit to you, that is when you can raise men up. When he was divinely settled in every area and settled with his family, He requested for any member of the house of Saul that He might show kindness.

Enough of laying curses and speaking against our helpers for not remembering us. It's time to pray for them to be settled in order to remember us, to be in charge fully and sent for us. I pray with you today, the Lord will settle your helpers fully in order to help you. We need to remember them in prayers to have a settled mind to lift us, send us help and place us rightly. It's my prayer this morning, that helper of ours, faced with situations that make them weak and incapable, those issues are settled in Jesus name, Heaven intervenes in such issues in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen.
Keep praying for your helper for Divine settlement, until they are settled, we might not be helped.
