TOPIC: LET US PRAY: Pour Upon Me Your Spirit (1)

MEMORY VERSE:
1 Thessalonians 5:17.
Pray without ceasing.

BIBLE READING:
Isaiah 32:15
"15. until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops."

Thinking Point:
Prayer is a dialog between God and man, for the reminder of His promises.

This week, our voice of cry shall be heard by God and man, we will be attended to from all areas of life in Jesus mighty name, Amen.

In the book of Joel 2:28-29, the Lord said,
"28. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:"
"29. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit."

The Spirit of the Lord, as promised for the last day, has many assignments to perform in the lives of believers. Mind you too, the outpour of the Spirit is for all not secluded to some certain persons. The spirit is what differentiate believer from the world. It comes with the ability to prosper in all endeavour of men. 

Our Bible reading today says, 
15 until at last the Spirit is poured out on us from heaven. Then the wilderness will become a fertile field, and the fertile field will yield bountiful crops."

There are situations that will remain the same without the out pour of the spirit upon us. One of the most important things the spirit will do is to put an end to fruitlessness, infertility and wasted time. Another version put it this way, 
"Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

Father, pour your Spirit upon me to turn my wilderness into a fruitful land, let all hardship come to an end in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
