Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 43, Day 2, Tuesday, 22nd October 2024 TOPIC: BUILD YOURSELF: Build your Faith (3)
TOPIC: BUILD YOURSELF: Build your Faith (3)
MEMORY VERSE:
Jude 1:20
"20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost."
BIBLE READING:
Romans 10:17
"17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
Thinking Point:
The Main source of Faith is the word of God - The bible.
One can't pray to the God he never believed in. Without Faith we can't trust God for anything; and receiving from Him is not possible. If our faith is not built, access to receiving from God is blocked. Jesus made it known that our faith is paramount to what happens In our lives, may I ask you, are you still building your faith? Are you feeding your faith? The faith that is not built is the faith that expires, that doubt, that weary In the face of opposition and triers. How do we build our faith then? By consistently reading the word of God, studying the scripture, digesting it and working in accordance with what we read.
The word of God is the builder of our Faith, it's the fuel we need to move our faith. When we neglect the word our faith in God drops, doubts begin to creep in and focus begins to shift away from God. How often do you read the word of God? When you read it, what is your take away from each chapter? What do you need to adhere to? Until the Word of God becomes the light that brightens our path, our faith will keep going down. It's time to wake up and build your most holy faith in God. Schedule your daily reading pattern and follow it. Let the word of God not depart your mouth and your heart, store it to walk accordingly. Start building your faith daily.
Good day and God Bless you.
