"20. But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost."

BIBLE READING:
Genesis 2:15-18
"15. The lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and watch over it."
"16. But the lord God warned him, “You may freely eat the fruit of every tree in the garden— 
"17. except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat its fruit, you are sure to die.” 
"18. Then the lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” 

Thinking Point:
Building your spiritual life, a mannered life and career life without building a home is like fetching water in a basket to waste.

It is good to know that God expands the world through you and I. He does not need to create another man or woman to make the world a better place, you and I have been tasked with the duty. You are a product of someone, and the influence of that man and that woman runs in you either positively or negatively. Without your parents you can't be either can I, if that be the case, what did they build in you? How was I built? The most important question remains, How are you building your home? Are you replicating the way you are built or making amendments in what was built in you? What are you building in your family? As single, how are you building yourself, is it what you will regret when you get married or what will make you happy when you are with your spouse?

God created Adam, placed him in the garden of Eden to build it. Singles, you are called to start building before you are married. You should have laid a foundation before you are engaged. Spouse is to help and compliment what you've started. Adam and Eve, daddy and mummy, husband and wife, what have you been building in your home? Are you spiritually built but failed in building your home? Always in the service with untrained and untamed children? Lack of respect to your spouse and neighbour? What are you building in your home? Many of our Fathers in Faith could not build their children to succeed them in ministry like Moses, Joshua, Samuel and many prophets. After their lifetime nothing was heard about their family again, is that the home we are building also? Can our children take over from us in that good manner, respect and lovely life in our homes? Building our home influences the world more than any other aspect of our lives. Where we retire daily needs to be solidly built. Not the duty of a mother alone but both. What are you building? Will your home influence the world positively or negatively? Build your home rightly, they learn from what they see you do rather than what you are teaching them.
