Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 44, Day 2, Monday, 28th October 2024 TOPIC: Trusting God: No Fear But Boldness (2)
TOPIC: Trusting God: No Fear But Boldness (2)
MEMORY VERSE:
Proverbs 3:5-6.
"5. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
"6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
BIBLE READING:
Psalms 125:1-2.
"1. They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever."
"2. As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever."
Thinking Point:
Our trust In God should propel the boldness that His ability can't fail.
A pleasant day in Jesus' Mighty Name, Amen.
Brethren, no one trusts in the Lord and regrets. Nobody trusts in God's ability and is put to shame because the word of the Lord is trustable and tested anywhere and anytime. Our trust in God should eradicate fear of failure and disappointment because God is not a man to fail or change His mind. What He says is what He will always do, He is a faithful God indeed.
King David spoke of the Lord he trusted in, his whole life. He knew God's ability to fulfil what He says and promised. He was being pursued in the wilderness, sleeping in a cage and hiding with the Philistines but still his trust in the Lord never waver, it produces boldness in the midst of storm. This gave him confidence regardless of who was after him. Then He declared, "They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever." Psalms 125:1.
This is the boldness that should be in us, that trusting God eradicate fear of failure, of being put to shame or death.
2 Timothy 1:7, says,
"7. For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."
King Solomon have this to say, in Proverbs 28:1.
"1. The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
For trusting God we possess the spirit of boldness not of fear. We are as bold as a lion. When we trust in Him with all our heart, even when we don't understand the circumstances around our lives, the boldness that God can't fail me should be our courage. Trusting God has no fear but Boldness in declaring what God will do. Hallelujah!
