Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 47, Day 4, Wednesday, 20th November 2024 TOPIC: Studying John 6:1-15. Abundance In That Little (11)

TOPIC: Studying John 6:1-15. Abundance In That Little (11)

MEMORY VERSE:
John 6:6.
"6. And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do."

BIBLE READING:
John 6:13
"13. Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten."

Thinking Point:
Every abundance is possible, in that little you are willing to release. Handing over to Jesus is receiving abundance.

We shall not lack, we shall not beg neither shall we borrow in Jesus' wonderful name, Amen.

Leftover of twelve baskets filled with bread and fish. In the right calculation, 5 bread + 2 Fish = 5 bread and 2 fishes, but in the hands of God it equals "infinity". Five thousand men with multitude of children and committed women, also considering those who were still expecting to receive miracles during Jesus' service, meaning we are talking of over ten thousands of persons, and they had twelve baskets left over from 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes, what a wonderful God. I want us to imagine people's words during the distribution, the mockery, the doubts, the negative expectations of the crowd, that the food won't be enough, but Jesus, who already knew what to do and what would happen, wouldn't listen to their sayings and never bothered if the food will be enough, all He knew was that, it would be enough.

Brethren, how many people had mocked you for your seeds? How many person's have discouraged you from giving to your church, ministers of the Gospel, helping people and saving lives? Just focus on the end result, not the prototype level. See what God promises you for sowing your seeds, not the words of men that bring discouragement. You know what, "Many will discourage you from doing what you are good at doing which they can't do". They will let you know, you are wasting your resources but have you noticed that, anywhere a seed falls, if we're taking care of it, it will grow? No giving will go without a reward. No seeds will be sown without bringing forth fruit. Every abundance is in little we let go. The Lad who gave the Five loaves of bread and two fishes will be so happy for being the supplier of what fed five thousand person's. Let the seeds you sow make you happy. Bless lives and keep blessing them, your abundance is on the way.

Good Morning and God bless you.
