Mobile Daily Devotional with Pst. Oluboye Emmanuel Week 45, Day 7, Saturday, 9th November 2024 TOPIC: GOD'S COMPENSATION: Coming Back Home (7)

TOPIC: GOD'S COMPENSATION: Coming Back Home (7)

MEMORY VERSE:
Joel 2:25.
"25. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you."

BIBLE READING:
Luke 15:20-24.
"20. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him."
"21. And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son."
"22. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:"
"23. And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry:"
"24. For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry."

Thinking Point:
For every lost Sons and Daughters of God, coming back home is filled with compensation beyond one's imagination.

Everything that stands to deprive you from enjoying the sonship of God, this day, I declare them dried up in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. We will be compensated greatly before this year ends in Jesus name.
Today, I will be speaking to everyone living the life of a prodigal son. You are in God but staying outside your jurisdiction. You have the grace of God upon your life but you've diverted the places of the functionality God assigned you to. The things of the world, friends, fame, title and accolades have taken you out of God's presence. You've seen yourself as "without God in this church, ministering, office, family or colleagues, I can be on my own" you are that prodigal son God is waiting to compensate.

The prodigal son thought the physical things, which stand as the gift, skills and grace of God upon his life, is enough to become whom God ordained him to be, No, you can't get God's virtue and use it without Him. That was the case of the prodigal son. He thought he could achieve without His father- God. But when he realized himself and turned back to God, compensation was already waiting for him. The fatted calf was killed as compensation for his homecoming. Do you know, the same honour is waiting for you as compensation? Do you know that God sees beyond that neglecting attitude of yours towards Him? Today is the day to come back to Him. You may be in church rendering eye services, working for title or seeking fame through your services. May be you are a men pleaser and not God pleaser, it's time to come back to your senses as the prodigal son did. Your compensation awaits you, return to God before it will be too late. Did you turned away because of what people say about you? Let no one stop you from God's compensation, go back to your duty post and serve God with that which He entrusted you with.

Good Morning and God bless you.
