TOPIC: QUALITIES OF KING SOLOMON: Beyond His Request (10) 

MEMORY VERSE: 
2 Samuel 12:24
And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: AND THE LORD LOVED HIM.

BIBLE READING: 
1 Kings 3:13
"13. And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days."

Thinking Point:
God is able to do more than our request when we please Him with the qualities He endows us with.

Today, blessings beyond our age, level, position or rank will be bestowed upon us in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

May I let you know today, that no quality that you possess is a waste, they all have an assignment to fulfill in someone's life. Until we make use of those qualities for the good of others some blessings will never be ours. There are what to pray for but also there are some blessings we earn as a result of functioning with the gift and resources of God in our lives. God has the ability to do beyond our request but there is a qualifier for such a level, the virtue of God in us.

God replied Solomon, I have given you what you asked but I am adding what you never asked of me. "both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days."
There are blessings that are not the product of works but our sacrifice in one way or the other, activate them. Hear this, in order to enjoy the extraordinary, you're not permitted to be ordinary, you must do the extraordinary too. Solomon was not ordinary, that was why he enjoyed the extraordinary of God. We can enjoy it. God is not stingy to release these blessings but we must attain a level to access it. Do you know that is according to our daily activities? Our relationship with people, how we influence others positively. I desire this level of overflow as you desire it, but are we ready for it? Go the extra ordinary with your walk with the Lord.
