"16. Go, and gather the Elders Of Israel Together, and say unto them,"

Thinking Points:

Not everyone can work with our calling. We will need God to guide us to those who can work with us. 

God will never call us to do His bidding alone, He will always assign co-workers for every call. When He calls us, He also delegates co-workers for the fulfillment of our calling. When Jesus came to the world, he also selected for Himself twelve disciples to work with Him, this is equivalent to the elders assigned to help Moses to fulfill His calling. No matter what you are called to do, you can't do it alone, you can't run it alone, there are people ordained to work with you. When you have the right people around you, it makes the calling easier.

God specifically instructed Moses to meet with the Elders when he got to the land of Egypt. These elders are to make his calling easier and fruitful. Now, why the elders? They knew about the God of Israel. They've heard a lot about God because they are older than Moses. When Jesus was choosing his disciples, He chose older people that are with Him, in order words, no matter your anointing you need the knowledge of elders to accomplish that which the Lord has called you to do. There is always the ancient path to thread no matter the grace we carry. Have you asked God for your co-workers? Are you working with the right disciples? When you have the right workers with you, the burden is shared and the work becomes easier. Ask God for the right partner to carry out His calling over your life.
