TOPIC: IN THE BEGINNING SERIES 2: Dust And the Breath of Life (16)

ONE YEAR BIBLE READING

MEMORY VERSE:
Gen. 1:1
"1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."

BIBLE READING:
Gen. 2:7
"7. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being."

Thinking Point:
We human are dust carrying the breath of the Almighty which can be withdrawn at any moment. Use that Breath well.

Today, I would like to start the Series 2 of "In the Beginning", which is, "A Dust And A Breath Of Life". It's my desire that God will enlighten us all as we go through this series in Jesus Mighty Name.

Definition of Dust
Dust is a fine, dry powder consisting of tiny particles of earth or waste matter lying on the ground or on surfaces or carried in the air. Dust has no base because it is controlled by the wind, moving from one place to another. Dust is useless and unwanted, even in our houses, we clean it off. If there's anything dust will avoid, it's wind (air) because it blows it off and changes its direction.

Breath
Breath is the air taken in or expelled from the lungs (by man). Wonderful. It's what sustains humans, without it humans can't live.

Now, dust will not want to welcome the wind (air); but the same air (breath) now comes out of the dust (man), Almighty God, you are great. 

God showed us at creation that He can turn everything around. He can change anything to something. Make something out of nothing. He is the overdo that does things that can't be undone. He is Yahweh in His fullness. 

The earth forms different animals but He took from the dust of the earth to form a man to rule over the earthly produce. What differentiates them is one thing, "The breath of Life In the Dust"

Father, we thank you for making us special with the "Breath of Life" in order to be like you. Thank you for not making me an animal but a human, I am most grateful for this Oh lord, in Jesus Mighty Name i pray.
