Romans 8:30.
"30. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."
Bible Reading:
Exodus 12:29-31.
"29. And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle."
"30. And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead."
"31. And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as ye have said."
Thinking Point:
Sooner or later, if we will not quit, what God promised will surely come to pass, Just do what He says.
What He says He will do, that is what He will do, that is why you are called Jehovah.
Beloved of God, the God that made the decree from the on set of that call hasn't forgotten what He said nor did He abandon those promises. What He said He meant it and it will surely come to pass. He'll fulfil all His declaration if only we will be encouraged to do what He called us to do. We may be experiencing things different from what He says, but be sure of this, He will bring to pass every of His words.
The Israelites were tired of believing Moses and Aaron's words of freedom from Egypt. Moses himself was confused at some point as you are. He performed many miracles which never changed the heart of Pharaoh, but when the word of God was to be established, everything and human called firstborn in Egypt was killed including the heir to the throne, then their freedom came to reality. May I let you know today that the fulfilment of God's word depends on our constant responses to every of His instructions. So, how often do we obey His instructions concerning our calling? Haven't we turned the other way when things were tough? He that fulfilled His word then, is very close to fulfil those promises He gave you, keep doing your part and listen to every detail of His instructions and you will share the testimony soon.
