TOPIC: SECRETS TO SUCCEED IN LIFE: Consistent Reminder Is Important (15)
ONE YEAR BIBLE READING
Exodus 36 - 37
Matthew 26: 57 - 75
MEMORY VERSE:
Romans 8:30.
"30. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."
Bible Reading:
Exodus 4:21-23.
"21. And the LORD said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go."
"22. And thou shalt say unto Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:"
"23. And I say unto thee, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if thou refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn."
Thinking Point:
God will always give a reminder of His instructions in order to increase your confidence and to be obedient.
Consistency is the key to accomplish any task before you. For any goal to be achieved we must keep at it like our life depends on it. We must constantly remind ourselves of what we want to achieve and the importance. For the word of God to be part of us we must study the word continuously, like He told Joshua in Joshua 1:8,
"8. This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; But Thou Shalt Meditate Therein Day And Night, That Thou Mayest Observe To Do According To All That Is Written Therein: ..."
Our consistent reading of God's word leads to full obedience of God's instructions. Likewise, a constant remembrance of God's instructions help us walk accordingly to the fulfillment.
God was constantly reminding Moses the task, assignment, what he will do, how he will do them and to whom it should be done as he was going on his way. Brethren, when God reminds us of His instructions, it's not to threaten us or instill fear in us but to build confidence in accomplishing the tasks ahead. He kept reminding Moses the purpose of going to Egypt so he wouldn't lose track when he gets there and that helped him even in the face of opposition. Beloved, this devotional may be directed to you who keep doubting if the constant assignment is from God, Yes, He's the one speaking to you today about that assignment. It's time to start acting on those recurring messages and calling. You kept seeing the dream, revelation or hearing the call, start up the mission. Don't allow doubt to weigh you down. Constant reminder of your assignment is for you to keep focus not to nurse fear.
