TOPIC: LESSONS FROM HANNAH'S LIFE; Human Has Limitations. (2)

Deuteronomy 28, Luke 5: 17 - 39.

MEMORY VERSE: 
Heb. 13:8
"8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."

BIBLE READING:
1 Sam. 1:4-8
"4. And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions: 5. But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. 6. And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. 7. And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. 8. Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons?”

Thinking Point:
Men has limitations when it comes to helping you except God intervene, men can't solve all your problems.

Where we focus determines where our expectations come from. I'd like you to know that no human has the intention of disappointing you but power beyond human reasoning is the reason behind all forms of neglect and reproach. Elkanah so much loves Hannah the best way a man can love his wife. He was always standing by her whenever she remembered her childlessness. He will give her a worthy portion not according to the portion she deserves. Elkanah could say to his wife, he has done more than what ten children will do for her but in all these; there was a limitation for Elkanah in the life of Hannah, he couldn’t put an end to her barrenness. I pray for you today, where the limitation of men ends in your life, God will intervene in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Your parents have limitations. Your spouse has limitations and you also have your limitations. We can’t do it all alone. There is the place of God in every situation. After you’ve tried your best, commit all things to God who has no limitations. Stop attacking people for neglecting you or not doing more than they’ve done. It’s only Jesus who can stand by you and can’t be limited with situations. Everyone has the last bus stop of help, knowing this, makes you know who to turn to when things are not working. Immediately Hannah knew this, she took the right step and was not disappointed. By the power in the name of Jesus, we will discern when men reach their limitation in our lives in Jesus' Mighty name, Amen. Turn to the right side for help because humans have limitations.
