Thinking Point:
Your past testimony should motivate you against the present challenges.
We, at Mobile Daily Devotional, a product of, Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry, do appreciate your encouragement by following our teachings, we return all the Glory to God, the giver of revelation and insight into His word. Thank you for encouragement, the Lord bless you richly.
Today, we shall be focusing on encouraging ourselves through our past testimonies. Pastors, motivational speakers, mentors and leaders can encourage us, but it's not as powerful as you being encouraged through your past testimonies, your past experiences with God. When the road seems blocked, all you need to do is to remember when the road was once blocked against you and how God made a way from nowhere. When immediate needs arise, just remember it once happened and those needs were met. Always have a flash back to what God has done for you in the past and that will motivate you enough to know that God will do it again.
David had testimonies of his past victories which stand as a pillar that God will do it again. He looked to the king's face, and repeated himself,
"David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine...."
Listen up brethren, the Lord who delivered you will do it again. He will fight for you again. He will speak for you again. He will resettle you again. Sit back and think of your past victories, let them sink into your brain, into your mind and subconsciousness that, I will rise again. I will win again. I will fly again. I will succeed again. Since God has done it for me before, He will do it again. You said God hasn't done anything in time past, you are always a failure, you've always become unfortunate, nothing good has being recorded in your life, listen to me, God is saying,
"18. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. 19. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:18-19.
He will change your story. He's about to give you a new story that supersedes your past negative life, only if you will believe and trust in Him, He will give you a new beginning. If that is you, receive it this morning. Your testimony is on the way if you can reflect on your past victories with Jesus.
Good morning, and God bless you.
