TOPIC: LESSONS FROM SAUL AND DAVID: Victory At Last (18)

Matthew 11:12.
"12. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force."

BIBLE READING:
1 Samuel 17:49.
"49. And David put his hand in his bag, and took thence a stone, and slang it, and smote the Philistine in his forehead, THAT THE STONE SUNK INTO HIS FOREHEAD; AND HE FELL UPON HIS FACE TO THE EARTH."

Thinking Point:
Victory is sure for those who endeavour to make the move.

Today, I declare and decree, we will be victorious, we shall overcome, we will defeat the enemy in every aspect of our lives. The devil may look so strong and powerful, more exposed and intelligent, older and wiser but with God on our side, we are more than conquerors in Jesus. In our marriage, ministry, career, healthwise, academically, financially and spiritually, we will prevail in Jesus name, amen, we shall see the end of that Goliath soonest by the power in the name of Jesus, amen.

The power remains in our ever consistent action, never accepting discouragement and focus on God. If we can put God first, not self, speak and defend Him, He will never abandon us. David took up the courage to face Goliath when warriors like King Saul couldn't make an attempt. He rejected every show of care that could endanger his life and faced the battle head-on and it became a testimony today, we can do the same, we can overcome without being defeated by putting God ahead. I see us coming out stronger in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

David defeated Goliath for the God of Israel's army, as we keep defending God and His Gospel our victory will be celebrated in Jesus name. Let everything we do bring glory to God and He will handle every opposition around our lives.
