Thinking Point:
The functionality of your uniqueness is the pedestrian of your lifting.
Without being proofed you can't be trusted with a higher task. Until you prove to be reliable and trusted then can man and God assign you your rightful placement. Someone might be good and excellent in what he/she does, without recommendations and proves nobody will be willing to entrust him/her with valuable lives and properties. When Joseph solved the riddles presented before him, the King lifted him and assigned to him the whole land of Egypt, Genesis 41. He became the handler of all matters in Egypt because he proved to be capable of handling such tasks.
David was set over the men of war, men older and experienced than he does because He proved himself to be capable of leading the troop in battle and yes he did. No one is putting you in charge because you have been tested and found lacking the quality to lead. God allowed you to remain where you are until you grow to lead others. The level you are presently is the level you can handle and until you prove to be better than that level you will remain in that position.
In Matthew chapter 25, the man with one talent was assigned what he was capable of handling and he still proved to be incompetent and wasted the opportunity, that is how many of us are, that is why many are not assigned responsibility. Until we are capable of handling five (5) talents we will never be assigned to handle such responsibility. Build yourself. Develop your capability in order to be assigned more responsibility. Maximise your uniqueness to move higher on the ladder of life.
