Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 24, Day 5, Thursday, 12th June 2025 TOPIC: KNOWING JESUS: He seeks For Our Attention (12)

TOPIC: KNOWING JESUS: He seeks For Our Attention (12)

One Year Bible Reading:
2 Chronicles 12 - 15, Acts 3.

MEMORY VERSE:
Daniel 11:32
"32. .... but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."

BIBLE READING:
John 11:32-34.
"32. Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. 33. When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. 34. And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see 35. Jesus wept."

Thinking Point:
How often we give Him our attention determines when He attends to us.

Let me start with one of my Nigerian favourite Gospel Song Ministers, Panam Percy Paul.

He Knows
Chorus
"He is watching over you,
He is aware, of the trials you're passing through,
He knows (he knows)
He see (he see)
He feels what you feel.
He is the one who cares for you
He knows (he knows)
He see (he see)
He feels what you feel...
He is the one who cares for you."

Lead 1
Sometimes when you are down
And you feel there is no way out for you,
You try but in vein
And you cry but it seems nobody cares
Let me tell you,
He knows (he knows)
He see (he see)
He feel what you feel
He is the one who cares for you.

Brethren, may I let you know that our tears are felt by God especially when the righteous go through undeserved turbulent times in life. When our heart is filled with a burden that we can't lift, Jesus feels it and speaks to God on our behalf. God knows and sees those struggles that men have put us through. If we keep standing for Him, no matter what, He will arrive and take the pain away.

You may want to ask when will God respond to me? Let's check this out together to know when. Martha met Jesus and was declaring the word of Faith and Jesus kept assuring her of her brother's resurrection, the discussion was much while they were walking home, Jesus didn't feel any pain while speaking with Martha, but when Mary came to meet Jesus, the same words Martha altered to Jesus was the same word she altered and Jesus was moved by her tears, why? Remember, she sat at Jesus' feet, she had more time for Jesus than Martha, her sister did. Her words had more power than that of her sister, Martha. God will always respond to those who have time for Him before others. God attends to those who obey and listen to Him first. How often do you have time for God? Listen, when we have time for Him, He will be committed to us. He seeks our attention, He seeks for relationships, our attention is what attracts Him to respond to us.

God is very close to us, let's run out to meet Him. He is around the corner, we need to respond by creating time for Him. He will never disappoint us, this I know because He feels our pain and has the solution readily made. When we walk with Him side by side then He hears our voice and attends to us first.

Good morning, and God bless you.
