Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 25, Day 3, Tuesday, 17th June, 2025 TOPIC: KNOWING JESUS: Be Ready For Results (16)

TOPIC: KNOWING JESUS: Be Ready For Results (16)

One Year Bible Reading:
2 Chronicles 29 - 30, Acts 7: 1 - 53.

MEMORY VERSE:
Daniel 11:32
"32. .... but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."

BIBLE READING:
John 11:45-48.
"45. Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. 46. But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. 47. Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. 48. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation."

Thinking Point:
God's act attracts two results, Good and Bad results, are you ready for it?

A beautiful morning to you all, the Love of God shall speak for everyone this day in Jesus name, Amen.

We all eager to receive one thing or the other from God, those prayer points we tabled before Him waiting for His approvers and testimonies, very good. But I will also want to bring to our notice that every good result comes with opposition, antagonism, rebellion, envy and both physical and spiritual attack. Are you preparing for both or focus on good results alone? Yesterday, we were made to know that there's always responsibility after every promotion, tasks and duty for the next level won't be equal to that of previous position, likewise, enmity increases, separation increases, fake friends come around to find means of pulling you down, are you prepared for this too?

In the case before us, when Lazarus was brought back to life, the first result manifested, many were happy, celebrating to the extent of giving their life to Christ for the scripture says,
"Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, BELIEVED ON HIM."

Souls were won which is the main reason for that miracle. Imagine how people crying before then were smiling and celebrating, I decree, our testimonies too will arrive and people will celebrate with us in Jesus name, they will praise God on our behalf and souls will believe in God through us in Jesus name, Amen.

Moving further, we also saw the second aspect of it, enmity because of others' progress.
"46. But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. 47. Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles."
It is my prayers today that our enemies will be put to confusion concerning our testimony in Jesus name, amen. Some people rushed to the Pharisees to report that Jesus resurrected Lazarus and they began to plan for his death. Beloved, not everyone in that office, workplace, church, environment or class wants you to succeed, few of them want you to be backward despite being better than them. Are you prepared for the battles in that seat you are aspiring for? Are you fighting the battles ahead or you're carried away with the good report you're expecting? It's time to start preparing for these two outcomes. Don't be blind folded with the goodness aspect without preparing for the second aspect. What brings us joy will not lead to our death in Jesus' name, Amen. Be prepared because the enemy is preparing against you, although the scripture says, "we are more than conquerors" still at that we need to be at war for every good expectation of ours. Be prepared on the two sides.

Good morning, and God bless you.
