Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 25, Day 7, Saturday, 21st June, 2025 TOPIC: KNOWING JESUS: Be Unpredictable (21)
TOPIC: KNOWING JESUS: Be Unpredictable (21)
One Year Bible Reading:
Ezra 1 -3, Acts 9: 32 - 43
MEMORY VERSE:
Daniel 11:32
"32. .... but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits."
BIBLE READING:
John 11:56-57.
"56. Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast? 57. Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him."
Thinking Point:
Be unpredictable. Not everyone should know your next step except your disciples.
We bless the name of the Lord for the revelation He has endured us with for the past three weeks. We've been studying, "Knowing Jesus". It is good to know that, knowing Jesus changes all things around our lives and works together for our good, Romans 8:28. Knowing Jesus relieves us of heavy burdens and gives us peace. When we know Jesus there should be this confidence of being right with God through Jesus. Things may not go the way we planned but the assurance that I'm a son/daughter of God, a friend of God, a joint heir with Christ should be in our mind, He will not watch me fail or be disappointed. Every situation around our lives is for the manifestation of His glory. No matter how we pray, until it's time for His glory to be revealed He won't respond to us, I see God responding to all our cry and the longing of our heart in Jesus name, Amen.
From this story of Lazarus, we have been able to deduce that God is not in a rush to help, bless or lift one until His time comes. God may not save us from predicament but will always save us in it. We've also learned that there is what you should do before God can act and do a miracle. You will need to roll away the stone placed there by your principles and experiences. Also, God's target is to win souls and draw men to Himself with our situation. Finally, we talked about being away from the public for a while in order for God to earn His glory.
Lastly, for today, be unpredictable for people. Let nobody know your plans and intentions. Stop proclaiming what you're about to do to everyone around you. Put people in suspense about your next steps and dreams. Abraham never revealed sacrificing Isaac to Sarah until everything was done, Genesis 22. Every instruction of God to you is meant to be for you not for everybody, so therefore, keep your godly instructions to yourself. Everybody was in suspense, they didn't know the next step of Jesus towards the coming Passover. They were eager to know if he would be around or not. Be unpredictable to your enemy. Whoever will hinder your God's given assignment should be kept in the dark. Learn to have your plans carried out silently, it brings more glory to God. Not everyone wants your success so be wise to know who you are speaking to about your next steps. Be unpredictable with your assignment. Happy weekend to you all.
Good morning, and God bless you.
