Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 29, Day 1, Sunday, 13th July, 2025 TOPIC: BE STILL: Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled (1)

TOPIC: BE STILL: Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled (1)

One Year Bible Reading:
Job 32 - 35, Acts 21: 37 - 22: 1 - 21

MEMORY VERSE:
John 14:1
"1. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me."

BIBLE READING:
John 14:27.
"27. Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Thinking Point:
Be still means don't be troubled, trust in God.

Hallelujah!
God has done it again. It's another beautiful week with testimonies all around us, victory in all endeavours and progress in all involvement in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
This week, God has sent me to tell you to learn to "Be Still" regardless of all situations we find ourselves in. Be still for God is in charge. Be still and trust the ability of God and not that of man. Be still because He knows more than we know and see. Be still and trust in God.

To be still means to see less of the situation but more of God. Our memory verse focuses on trusting God,
"Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me". The only place to put our trust right now is in God, in the name that is above other names, Jesus. No situation is as strong or powerful as the name of Jesus. No circumstance is too hard to face in the presence of God. To be still is to trust in the power of the Almighty God. When situations are tough, remember God is tougher. Remember the name He has given to us that is above all other names, Jesus. Also remember His Word before He left this world which says,
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Peace isn't the absence of challenges but being still and trusting in the one who knows more than we do. Put your heart at rest over those situations and circumstances. Be still and know that God is in charge and He will handle it if you can push it over to Him today.

Good morning, and God bless you.
