Oluboye Emmanuel Ministry Mobile Daily Devotional Week 29, Day 4, Wednesday, 16th July, 2025 TOPIC: BE STILL: He Is Fighting Our Battle (4)

TOPIC: BE STILL: He Is Fighting Our Battle (4)

One Year Bible Reading:
Psalms 1 - 6, Acts 24: 1 - 47.

MEMORY VERSE:
John 14:1
"1. Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me."

BIBLE READING:
Exodus 14:13-14.
"13. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. 14. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace."

Thinking Point:
Be Still means God is fighting our battles without our input.

One of the reasons why believers should be disturbed in life should be when our battle becomes tougher than the God we serve. When our challenges and situations become severe that none could survive, then we should be disturbed. But when our lives become stormy, stagnated, mockery and feel rejected, we can look up to God and say, 'Father, I handover to you, I am helpless' that means we are telling God to resume His duty, that we can't go beyond this place, that is when we learn to Be Still before God. One thing we need to know is that our battles are not more than what someone has overcome in the past. Our trust in the ability of God is the way out of our circumstances. As believers when we lose focus of the ability of God we are defeated, we will never be defeated in Jesus name, Amen.

It was the first time in the history of the world during the Israelites time that they came across the Red sea. It looks insurmountable, dead end, hopelessness and journey of no return with the Egyptian behind them. I don't know if that's what you are encountering presently, but I have this message for you, "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace" only if you will coordinate yourself and Be Still before God. Testimony means what I couldn't achieve that God made possible for me, that will be your next news in Jesus name, Amen. Be still and listen to God in the face of that Red sea. Hear what He has to say. When we are confused we hardly hear what the spirit is saying. Be still and listen to the next instruction. Moses was still before the sea, he encouraged the Israelites without hearing from God. Then he called to God and the rest is history. Be still and listen to hear what He will say. We are too special to Him to be forsaking or abandoned. When we are not listening to Him we suffer the most. Be still and let Him fight the battle for you.

Good morning, and God bless you.
