TOPIC: CROSSING TO THE OTHER SIDE: You Need A Vision (1)

BIBLE READING:
Luke 8:22
22 One day Jesus said to his disciples, “Let’s cross to the other side of the lake.” So they got into a boat and started out." (NLT)

Thinking Point:
For every crossing over there must be a Vision which is aligned with God's purpose for our lives.

We bless God for this new week, for seeing us through till this moment, all the glory be to God Almighty. I welcome you to another week of God's mind concerning you and I. We shall be focusing on "Crossing To The Other Side", what it entails to change location, status, position and forge ahead. Our case study shall be Jesus Christ our Lord.

We desire to cross over in our lives, from hardship to ease, from a comfort zone to a new pedestal but it seems it's not going to happen. I am here to let you know that it is possible and it will become a reality in Jesus name, Amen.

Let's see what it entails to cross over, firstly, you need a "Vision". What is a Vision? Vision is the picture of a desired future in accordance with God's purpose for one's life. Vision is a propeller for change, it's the desire to become a different person, moving forward, not being satisfied with what you've achieved and willing to do more. Firstly, vision must be inline with God's purpose concerning your life. A vision outside of God will remain an ambition that never sees the light of days.

Jesus started with a vision which was inline with His assignments, to stand in the gap between human and God, to reconcile men to God. He was fulfilled already in His present location and deem it fit to move to another location. Crossing over must have a reason, a purpose, a desire to accomplish, if the desire does not align with God's plan for your life it will remain a struggle and an unachievable vision. So why are you changing location? Why are you changing focus? Why are you crossing over? Have you presented it before God? If not, be sure of what God's mind is about crossing over. Jesus was going to win souls not otherwise. Be sure of what God is saying concerning crossing over before taking the step. Vision for crossing over must align with God's purpose for our lives before taking the steps.
