Thinking Point:
Storm is either a distractor or a motivator, it depends on how you choose to see it.
It's the end of July, the seventh month, all Glory be to the most faithful and righteous God who kept us till date, may His name be praised forever more, Amen.
Crossing over in Life is what makes life better and brings progress. When we are not crossing over we will remain stagnant for life, revolving at a particular position and will end up envying every progress in others. Everyone who takes a bold step to crossover always gets to the top and becomes an achiever in life. But crossing over isn't an easy step or tea and bread moment but a time to depart who you are to a new person. It involves being prepared for what's ahead. Determination to cross over not just to say it. While crossing over there are many storms to face, many opposition and distraction but they aren't our enemy, they are a test to know how desperate we are to cross over. They are motivators to test our determination if we will turn back or forge ahead. What you call it is what it becomes, a distraction to turn back or a motivation to keep moving.
While the move was on with Jesus and His disciples, the storm rose while in the boat and Jesus was taken a nap, resting for what precisely? For the storm ahead, regaining strength to face the next level. The reason for resting is to prepare for the stormy days, coming out with new ideas as we discussed yesterday. So the disciples saw the storm as a distraction, they were perplexed, fearful, jittery and confused not knowing what next. This is one of the hardest moments in crossing over. When all you see is rejection, being alone, no helper, faced with a situation unplanned for. Beloved, it's not a time to be discouraged but a time to be motivated. It's a season of tests, don't turn back. Don't be like the disciple who doesn't know what to do, relax and find a way out. Who do you think could be of help? First of all is God, turn to Him to light your path, to show you where to turn and how to be motivated with the present situation. Then, as a driver, moving on a road filled with potholes, do you turn back or you keep moving gently? Do you park the car and wait till the government renovates the road? No you keep moving, that's how to handle the stormy time, keep moving but slowly and gently you will overcome, if you will not turn back you will get through the storm. Stormy time is a motivation time.
