TOPIC: WHO IS A PREACHER? Five Fold Ministry (1)

Job 9 - 11, Acts 18: 1 - 23.

MEMORY VERSE:
Mark 16:15.
"15. And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

BIBLE READING:
Ephesians 4:11-12
"11. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12. For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"

Thinking Point:
The Gospel is a message of hope to be preached to all living souls.

A happy new week to you in Jesus' wonderful name. We bless God for giving us the grace to for a new week, to Him be all Glory as always in Jesus name, Amen.

Who is a preacher? Is our focus for this week and I know that the Lord will be unfolding His word to us beyond our understanding in Jesus name, Amen.
The 'Five Fold Ministry" as fondly called is assigned to make Christ known to the world and to believers, yes, to believers in order to reveal Christ to all. These five fold ministries are, Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers, they are assigned to teach the body of Christ who Christ is, what his mission to the world is and how He can be made known to the world. The five fold ministries equip the believers and newly convert with the knowledge of Christ. Amongst the five folds are Apostles; who govern over ministries, they established and oversee ministries in different locations. A prophet who stands in the gap between the church and God, revealing the secret of God to men. Evangelists are assigned to ruggedly preach the gospel without fear in every nation. The Pastors care for the sheep in the local churches and feed them with word of the Lord. Then the Teachers teach the raw truth without bias, they unfold the word of God in a simpler form to a simple heart till the knowledge of God becomes reality in the lives of all.

Yes, the Five Fold Ministries are called to preach but they are not the only preachers in the world. They only use the pulpit to preach but preaching goes beyond that. Join me tomorrow as we move further to know who a preacher is and where we all belong.
