TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: To Obtain Grace and Mercy (6)

One Year Bible Reading:
Psalm 119: 113 - 176, 1 Corinthians 7.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalm 122:1
“1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.”

BIBLE READING:
Heb. 4:14-16
“14. Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. 15. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

Thinking Point:
Accessing God’s Grace and Mercy comes via His presence.

May the grace and the mercy of God be accessible to your life in Jesus name, Amen. The Grace and the Mercy of God is fully available in His court, in Zion, in the temple of God. Remember, the Highest Priest resides in the temple. He is the link between God and man. We reach Him by going into the temple of God. Now, He is our access to Grace and Mercy, so therefore, until we appear before Him Grace and Mercy is not made available.

God's presence is where Grace and Mercy flow without control. Our Highest Priest, Jesus Christ, is waiting there to give to individuals who appear in His sanctuary. God's sanctuary is the Throne of Grace where mercy flows without favoritism and without measure. Everyone who comes in enjoys some level of Grace and Mercy according to their walk with God but coming to His presence is one of the criteria for His Mercy and Grace.

Note this, "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need”. You need to be free from any guilt before you can come boldly to His presence, that's where the challenge is. If you are bold enough to appear before Him, Grace and Mercy await you in His presence.
