TOPIC: Why Going To Church?: Liberty in God's Presence (3)

Psalm 113 - 115, 1 Corinthians 4.

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalm 122:1
“1. I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.”

BIBLE READING:
2 Corinth. 3:16-17
"16. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.”

Thinking Point:
The Spirit of the Lord connotes the presence of the Lord which attracts liberty.

Where God is, the Spirit of God is present. The Spirit of God carries out the mind of God. So therefore, wherever the Spirit of God is present, there is liberty. In the house of God you are set free from every bondage whatsoever.
Obadiah 1:17.
"17. But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, ..."

Do you need to be free from habits that hold you captives? Like smoking, anger, stealing, drug addiction, sin or any form of addiction that you are not proud of? You need to be in the presence of God for the Spirit to work in you and through you. Coming into His presence liberates you from every act that brings reproach to your life. He liberates from acts that one can't handle and adds to your life things that bring Glory to His name in your life.

Let's appear before Him with the expectation of liberation by His Spirit and His word, this will be your experiences in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
