TOPIC: THE INITIAL WORD OF GOD: Can Be Altered (5)

"19. God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
BIBLE READING:
Ezekiel 18:26-28.
"26. When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die. 27. Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive. 28. Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die."
Thinking Point:
When we alter His way we alter His initial word concerning us.
The grace of our Lord Jesus rests and abides with us in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
God is faithful in all His dealing with His children. He is faithful to the wicked and to the righteous. He's not partial by race, gender, age or generation, He is a favorite to all humans accordingly. He has an initial word to every human who lived and has ever lived and He is never tired or weary of keeping to those words of His because He is God of all. Sometimes we may deviate from His words, deviating from His purpose concerning our lives. He is patient to lead us back to the right path by His mercy. He shows us care and draws us back to His drawing plan in order to fulfil His initial words concerning us. God will not allow any of His words to go unfulfilled concerning His children.
But we can also truncate God's initial word for our lives. We can orchestrate the initial word of God by not yielding to His call when we derailed. God's mercy can be ignored and misused when one refuses to respond to His call. God speaking with Ezekiel saying,
"When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die." When the righteous, a saved soul, turns away from God, and begins to live in iniquity despite knowing the truth of God's love through Christ, if such a soul refuses to turn to God he forfeits the initial word of God concerning him. When God beckons on His wayward child but refuses to respond, such as altered the initial word of God concerning him/her. But when he responds to the call like the prodigal son, who finds His way back home, he has reconnected back to the initial word of God for his life. Many souls have departed from God's initial word for their lives but God still awaits their return. You think your service was a waste and turned away from His service to walk in the way of the world, God is waiting for you to reconnect to Him. Do you feel being righteous isn't yielding results and turned away from God? He is waiting for you, relocate your steps back to Him before it's too late. Don't alter the initial word of God upon your life.
