TOPIC: WHY LACK OF HELPER?: Helplessness Of The Helper (4)

Isaiah 13 - 14,
Ephesians 1: 15 - 2: 1 - 10

MEMORY VERSE:
Psalms 60:11-12.
"11. Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. 12. Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies."

BIBLE READING:
2 Kings 6:26-27.
"26. And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my lord, O king. 27. And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress?

Thinking Point:
Our helpers also need help before they can render help.

The helper of men shall send us help from His sanctuary this week in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Beloved, I like to know that some of our helpers are not just delaying our help. They are not withholding help from us but they also lack help which is the reason for not helping us. It's good to know that every man on earth needs help at a point in their life. Either great or wealthy, they also need help. During creation, God called His angel to let them know that He needed their help to forge ahead in creating the human race. Jesus also went ahead to call apostles and other seventy-two disciples to spread the gospel on His behalf. Everyone needs help to fulfill the mandate of God upon us. But those who are destined to help us also need help which may be the reason for our lack of help.

In the land of Israel there was famine and the king himself was seeking help from God through Elisha. But there was a woman who also needed help and thought her help would be solved when she saw the king passing by. She cried to the king for help and the king replied, "And he said, If the LORD does not help thee, whence shall I help thee?" The one we look to for help may be going through helplessness too. Without the helper being helped, help is not sure from them. What we will do is to pray for our helpers to come in contact with their helper too. Until our helpers are helped we may not enjoy help from them. Until God attends to them they may not attend to us either. Let us raise our voice today and pray for helpers to come in contact with their needed help. Let's pray that things will work out for our helper that they may remember to help us as well. Not all helpers are against you but they are also faced with situations distracting them from helping others.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that you will send helpers to my helper, that you will attend to their situation and give them relief in order to remember to help me too. Let my helper be helped in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.
