Colossians 3 - 4:1

MEMORY VERSE:
Gen 8:5. 
“5. And the waters decreased continually until the tenth month: in the tenth [month], on the first [day] of the month, were the tops of the mountains seen.”

BIBLE READING: 
1 Sam. 16:1.
"1. And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons."

Thinking Point:
Only God identifies our helpers and reminds them about us.

The Lord is the lifter of heads. He has diverse ways of lifting His children. We have been studying these for some days and we will study another means of His lifting today. When God is ready to lift His children He can decide to speak to someone to carry out the assignment without our contribution. In the case of David, he was in the bush taking care of sheep, training himself on instruments and accuracy in the use of sling while God was speaking to Prophet Samuel to go fetch him out for kingship. The Prophet gave flimsy excuses but God gave him a word to tell the king in order to carry out His instructions, at the end, David was anointed as the king, while a king was still on the throne. 

I pray today, because it's our season of lifting, God will speak to our helpers in Jesus Mighty Name. Those He has assigned for our lifting will arise, obey and carry out their assignment in our lives in Jesus name, Amen. Any man or woman, standing as a devil's agent, that will stand like Jesse who refuses to present David for kingship, God will subdue and convert such to the right link in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

When it was time for David to appear before King Saul, God raised a helper who introduced David again to the King as a carrier of the Spirit of God who could contend with the evil spirit tormenting King Saul, 1 Samuel 16:17-19. God is raising men and women who will introduce us to the king, speak of our gift and our talents to solve their problems in Jesus name, Amen. We will be lifted above our present situation this month and beyond in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. God is speaking on our behalf to our helpers this week in Jesus Name, Amen and Amen.
