TOPIC: DAVID'S HEART: Fetch Him Out (5)

Psalms 89:20.
"20. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:"

BIBLE READING: 
2 Samuel 9:4-5.
"4. And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar. 5. Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar."

Thinking Point:
When it's time to be helped God raises people to fetch them out.

May the hand of the Almighty fetch us out from Lodebar today, in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
David's heart was a heart after the things of God. He seeks after what pleases the Lord. He may have many records of sins, acts that make God angry but He has a heart that repents and turns to God faster. When his heart reminded him of the act of Jonathan, he began to search for someone to show kindness to in the family of Saul and he heard of Mephibosheth. Worst of all, he is crippled, hidden in a small town called Lodebar for safety and he is the son of Jonathan, David's friend. The King gave an order, "Fetch Him Out", in order words "go and bring him out. David remembered how he was fetched out for kingship from the bush. He remembered what he was going through then according to 1 Samuel 16:11 l,
"11. And Samuel said unto Jesse, Are here all thy children? And he said, There remaineth yet the youngest, and, behold, he keepeth the sheep. And Samuel said unto Jesse, SEND AND FETCH HIM: for we will not sit down till he come hither."

The same did David, he commanded Ziba, at all cost FETCH HIM OUT. May we be fetched out from our hidden places in Jesus' mighty name, Amen.

Can you also remember how God fetched you out from that please you where hidden in time past? Do you remember what you went through before you were fetched? Have you done the same to others? Have you fetched people out of their loneliness when you have the ability? Has anyone praised God on your behalf for fetching them out of where their situation kept them? David's heart is to inspire us to do the same to others not to read it as a story book. Get someone out of Lodebar this week in your capacity. It may be paying for someone's school fees, paying for lunch, clothing someone, paying for transport fare, helping ministry and ministers. Fetch someone out from where the situation has placed them and you will be sowing a seed into your future.
