Luke 17:12-14.
"12. And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: 13. And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. 14. And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed."
Thinking Point:
The simplest instructions from God are the most powerful key to deliverance.
May the strength and might of God rest upon us for the day, every reason for weariness is cleared off all paths in Jesus Mighty name, Amen.
In the world we are today, most believers believed in long prayers from their pastors, they believed in rigorous instruction before miracles. When men of God give instruction and it seems simple their faith doesn't click with it. That is why many turned down many instructions. Our God is not rigorous but we tend to seek hard instruction, rigorous requests, and bigger assignments in order to please God. God is considerate, He won't give us burdens that we can't bear.
When Jesus entered into a certain city in Jerusalem, ten (10) lepers saw Him afar and they called Him saying, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us." And Jesus answered by saying, "Go shew yourselves unto the priests", very simple. If the ten lepers refuses to follow the instructions they will remain lepers. They have excuses to give to Jesus by saying, "we are lepers and we are not allowed to enter the city" but no they went in search of the priest. When God instructed Abraham to sacrifice Isaac, Genesis 22, He never asked questions nor did he inform his wife but went ahead without a word. This is where many of us failed it. We start with self reasoning, "can it be possible?" "What will the priest do to me?" "Let's inform someone to hear what they will say" and while asking we get lost and forsake the instructions. The ten lepers went and were healed, they gave no room for anyone to distract them from doing what Jesus said. Which instructions have you watered down the drain? How many times have people brainwashed you from following God's instructions from Men of God? Is not that God is not instructing us but we are not obedient to Him. Check within, think deep and search for God's instruction and act upon it. It might not be too late for you. Trust and obey godly instructions.
